Western Dental & Orthodontics

I was suppose to get my wisdom teeth removal today and the oral surgeon cancelled on me. I cancelled a lot of my plans and called off my job just to get to the dentist and have them tell me that my appointment was cancelled. The front desk girls claim they called me yesterday and today and left me a voicemail. They only called yesterday and left a voicemail they didn't call today or bothered to call me a few times to see if I would answer. So unprofessional of them. I don't blame the surgeon because he had an emergency but the front desk for being irresponsible I could have had my wisdom teeth removed this morning at 8am.

The hygienist was very informative. I didn’t feel like just another customer. She took the time to explain what I needed to do for better oral health. Very satisfied with the care.

I went here because one of my fillings fell out and my employer's HMO dental plan only allowed me to go to Western Dental. So after the x-rays, the dentist tells me that I need 5 root canals and that my share of costs is around $6,000.00. As an Administrative Assistant and a part-time student, I don't have that kind of money, so I decided to get a second opinion. Also, the dentist refused to replace my filling because "it's a root canal now." So, they gave me a "free" cleaning and sent me on my way (with the hole in my tooth still there). And I got a bill for that supposed "free" cleaning which I had to call 3 or 4 times and explain what happened in order for them to stop sending me bills.

The second opinion was with my family dentist. He did x-rays and told me that I didn't need a root canal, let alone 5 of them and he fixed my filling for a low cost cause I had to pay cash. This was months ago and my tooth that got filled and my other teeth have been fine since. If it isn't obvious, I would not go back to Western Dental or recommend going there.

Worst place ever!!! Don't come to this place. They don't take care of their patients correctly.

The receptionist are rude to senior citizens. I heard the receptionist talking down to the elderly and not wanting to help them. The receptionist practically were sent home after the elderly took their time to get an appointment and go to Western Dental.

I also had a bad experience. I was sent home with no prescription medicine given to me. After the anesthesia was out of my system I was in massive pain. I had to drive back with my pain and ask the receptionist for some. I drove to the pharmacy because their technology is not advanced enough to send the prescription directly to the pharmacy. Although they over price everything they still didn't have the money to buy the equipment to catchup to the average technology.

Hours later, I finally got my pain medication and antibiotics to prevent infections.

I had the absolute worst experience here. Not only are they rude and the girls in the front desk dont take initiative to take care of you but ONE time I was 5 minutes late because there was NO parking, they over book people, and they said they could not take care of me. I had to get out of work early on another day. if they didnt over book people this wouldn't be the problem/ They always have attitudes and CORP needs to do a clean up for this location. I get we are minorities and the locations isnt the best but please dont taint Western Dental's reputation w/bad customer service. I broke my contract and do not recommend to anyone! word of mouth about WD willbe the worst from me.

I've been in my car for almost 2 hours waiting for a cleaning and filings for my son. I will have them Finish today because I'm stuck... But best believe come the morning, I have my child's dental chart and file and i will bet looking for a new dentist.

Front staff is super rude.. no communication skills what so ever. Except for Erica that's the only one who takes the time to actually explain the issue.. the male Dentist super rude on EVERY VISIT I have attended. The other two Lady dentist are friendly and will make u feel welcomed.. would I return to this place again probably not.. would I reccomend this place most definitely not..

AVOID! Don't believe the owner response! I had an appointment and after an hour 1/2 waiting. the front receptionist was just rude and unprofessional (surprise). I also talked to the others waiting and some waited over 3... if you come here still it's on you lol. Some of the nurses are great but the actual front staff is just terrible.(No benga mal servicio!)

I almost gave up on this location but gave it a second chance since they are literally around the corner. I've had extensive work done and it's been a smooth ride since.

Usually In and out with appointments unless it’s a bit busy but wait time is always manageable. Love the team here :)
