I was Looking for a new dental office and stumbled across Fuller Smiles in Northridge, I couldn't be happier. The ladies at the front desk were so sweet…thank u Lisa and Araceli. Sarah, the hygienist, was absolutely amazing, super sweet and gentle. Dr. Matt was kind with his words and made me feel super comfortable. 10/10

Dr. Shannon’s Office and He himself delivers! I was looking for a clinic who can give me a good price for retainers and this is the one. Natalie and the other ladies at the front desk were really friendly and helpful.
Dr. Shannon was very knowledgable on the retainers they offer and went through it with detail. He took my impressions pretty quick and unlike other dental offices I’ve been to, He will make time for you and not be dealing with several patients simultaneously.
My overall experience was amazing and they will really take care of you!

I am so grateful that my friend referred me to Dr. Shannon!!! I had some really bad dental work done between February to May 2020. And it wasn't just because of COVID quarantine...it was a progressively poor experience that wasted me thousand of dollars out of pocket. My first appointment with Dr. Shannon was such a remarkable, positive experience from the moment I made the appointment to when I walked out the door. The front office staff is very kind, patient, and thoughtful as I asked different questions regarding payment plans, dental insurance, appointment dates, etc. I had a dental cleaning with Armand - hands down BEST cleaning experience EVER! He was friendly and very gentle, but thorough. He ended the appointment giving observations and suggestions on how to maintain dental cleanliness and health. My first interaction with Dr. Shannon was such a delight! I have neglected cleanings and checkups for a decade because of past, horrifying experiences. But Dr. Shannon has a great sense of humor and is incredibly gentle when giving the dreaded shot. His conversation was not mere prattle...but relatable and I was quickly put at ease. Dr. Shannon helped me to prioritize and understand what work was necessary, and what was not. It was an honest conversation and I greatly appreciated the plain speak. I can't tout Dr. Shannon and his practice enough! If you dread or fear going to the dentist - here, you do not have to hesitate or be concerned. I highly recommend!!

Besides the fact that his office is within minutes of my house, he one of the best dentists I've been to over the years. Kind, funny and caring. I went there on 5/24/22 for a teeth cleaning. I had called the day before and I was told they had an opening so I scheduled a time to go in. I mentioned that I had a postcard from Dr. Shannon, which I'd been getting forever, and they said they could fit me in. I show up and to my surprise it's no longer Dr. Shannon's office. He apparently retired the week prior. The staff didn't mention that over the phone. The new dentists seem to be ok. I had my cleaning and a few "fillings" and they waived my portion of the additional costs. That was nice. I was also told to come back for a Zoom whitening - I don't really need it as I have naturally white teeth but heck, it's being offered and why not? I mentioned to them that I'd also like to get braces on my lower teeth as they had been shifting. They were happy to submit a preauthorization to my insurance. I have no issue with that although we had already discussed how much they would cover for Orthodontia. The staff mentioned that they'd be scheduling the Zoom whitening patients starting June 9th. I said ok, put me on the list. Today is June 14th and I have not heard a word from anyone at that office at all. No follow-up from my previous appointment about the preauthorization for the Orthodontia, no call to schedule me for the whitening, not a darn call. They really made me feel great about changing my dentist to this office but now...I'm having 2nd thoughts. I'm certain they'll see this post and pretty sure someone will call me this week...at least I hope they do. If not, well that will tell me what type of office it is. I'll update my post once I hear from them. PS the building itself is very outdated. The restrooms are outside in another part of the complex and they too are very dated.

Dr. Shannon said that I needed two crowns and insurance would pay. My share was $950.00 I paid, he did the work and his office botched the insurance filing. After several appeals the insurance company did not pay and I had to pay the other half. The office staff gets a -5 stars and Dr. Shannon gets -3 stars. I will not be back. Even though he has now retired I wouldn't go near that office for dental work for my dogs teeth.

If you want a great dentist go to Dr. Shannon. After too many years with terrible dentists I was referred to Dr. Shannon. He is the best dentist of all. Very thorough, careful and thoughtful and a true professional. I've been with him for 3 years now and look forward to many more years to come!
