I needed a new dentist. I went to get a cleaning. They did X-rays and an exam. When I asked about the cleaning, they said I need a deep cleaning and won’t do a regular cleaning. They said it was neglectful if they don’t do the deep cleaning and I said it was neglectful to do no cleaning at all. They refused. They listed all these things I named and the benefits person was rude and uncaring. Horrible personality. Don’t go there.

We just returned from our first post Covid dental visit to the Palm Springs Modern Dentistry. Although we have been regular clients for several years, we were once again impressed by the professionalism, cleanliness and personable service we received from Dr Natalie Le and her amazing staff. Special thanks to our dental hygienist Ashlee, Michaela and of course Ali at the front desk!

Highly recommend visiting this office. I am so satisfied with the service I received. Thank you Dr. Le and Erica for the great service. Definitely recommending my friends and family.

Outrageous RIPOFF . New here in town and broke a crown while in the hospital. Made an appointment and they treated me very courteously. Finally it came time to discuss the cost. Finance lady comes in and sits in a chair next to the dental chair I was in. The sign pad was right there so I should have had an idea. Then she gives me the most ridiculous price I have ever heard of. One simple crown replacement, my share after my good Delta insurance was more than $800. I walked. Later with a bit of calling found the same service for less than half that cost.

Went in for the 59$ new patient cleaning special. The doctors were nice, polite and friendly, however the front desk staff was not friendly and not polite on the phone, very fake seeming, hate their tacky little greeting when they answer the phone. The cleaning itself was the quickest I have ever had and I don't think they did a very good job. I was able to pull more tartar off my teeth after I left using a finger nail, this makes me think that they softened some up but did such a cursory job that they left a lot of it on my teeth.

Normally I hate going to the dentist (doesn’t everybody??) but Dr. Jang made this visit so accommodating and comfortable. I recently went to have my teeth cleaned and was a bit worried about the pain, however Dr. Jang would pause whenever I asked, which made the whole process much more bearable. Thank you Palm Springs Modern Dentistry, see you again in six months!!

I feel today warrants a review. I made an appointment on their online portal for 7:45 for a cleaning ,as it has been 6 months give or take since my last appointment which was x-rays, check up and cleaning. I showed up to be told I couldn't have a 7:45 because the office doesn't open till 8 am. Funny thing is when they called a few days ago the office said we are calling to confirm your and I said my 7:45 she said yes. This morning as I was checking in now 8:05, I was told that I would be getting a check up and then would have to reschedule for a cleaning because that is how the insurance works. Sorry, not my first dental appointment and that is not correct. It is an attempt to over bill the insurance company for multiple office visits . With that said, I walked out and called them back to tell them I would not be back and that I would be filing a complaint with the insurance company. They said their on line portal ask people to be there 15min early for their appointment and I said then maybe your portals first apt should be for 8:15 then people would show up when your office is open . If your retired and you have time for unnecessary multiple appointments to get a basic cleaning then I'm sure this office is fine. For those of us who work and are running businesses this is a time waste and the reason our insurance rates are high is medical/dental offices over billing and trying to up sell .

My spouse and I recently visited as new patients and were thrilled by the staff and dentist. No complaints whatsoever! However, at the end we were both told we needed a deep cleaning and could not get a regular cleaning (prophylaxis) because we needed root planning (beyond prevention to treatment). I still said we just wanted a regular cleaning for now and were told that our insurance dental insurance (Anthem) would not cover a regular cleaning. Anthem tells me this is not true. It seems like a scam to upsell patients to make more money. I'd like to think that's not true but now after going to all the trouble of a first visit we're now having to look for a new dentist. Really disappointing!

I needed to write this review several weeks ago. What's an amazing office and staff here at Modern Dentistry. I went in during Covid due to serious pain - I had myself an ugly cavity below the gum line. I cannot tolerate any pain and I went in "insisting" the tooth be removed. However, Dr Lee was jist amazing educating me on all the Pros and Cons of removing the tooth. He genuinely had my best interest at heart. He shared that he felt very confident he could save the tooth. So with lots of patience..we scheduled an appt and I had tje procedure and he saved my tooth!! I am so eternally grateful and will continue to use this as my only office. I TOTALLY dig the staff here and I highly recommend them!

Today was my first visit to Dr. Jang and team. They were very friendly and thorough and there was very little waiting around. The facility and equipment were indeed modern. Very glad I found this practice for my dental care.
