I work for a busy cardiology office and my spouse came in as a walk in last Friday. We were very happy they got him in, and he was given a round of antibiotics, and told to come back in on Tuesday at 7:45am for an extraction. Mind you he is in a lot of pain. He gets there this morning and they tell him they can't see him until 9:45am with a 7:45am appt. Told because he was a walk in on Friday today is not an appointment, treated as a walk in as well. Not he might not even get seen today due to the HOPE program. I had to reschedule 9 heart patients due to lack of communication. All for the HOPE program for the homeless, but at least if you tell someone to show up at a certain time, stick to your word, or at the very least communicate with us what could happen.
UPDATE: It is after 10:30am and they probably aren't getting him back now. AWESOME đđ

Excellent! I was a walk in. Extremely thorough exam. Better experience than any private practice I've been to. Only downside is the long wait list to become a patient. After my visit I can see why.

I brought my three children, ages 3 to 8, to you have examinations and make appointments for cleanings and fillings if necessary. I was blown away by the care of the entire staff, and how kindly and age appropriately they treated my kids. Before now, we always paid an unbelievable amount to take the kids to a well-known children's dental office in town but we simply cannot afford it anymore. I am so glad that Shasta Community Health dental is here for us, because they have made the transition for my kids perfectly smooth and given them a great care.

I went here as a walk-in and it was still faster than a certain other place in town. They were fast, didn't leave me waiting after the shots and were very gentle!
They might be short staffed because they rarely answer or return calls.

I love all of the professional and experienced dentists and dental technicians that have had their hands in my mouth. I truly believe that they care about you and your desire to save your teeth. They are so pleasant every single time I go in. I am very appreciative to have them and would not have my teeth fixed if not for this clinic. I am on Medicare, it pays for nothing. Thank you SCD office.

I went to the Redding office yesterday. Oh boy was I scared cause I havenât been to a dentist in 24 years, but everyone there made my experience so much better than I expected. I let them know how I felt and they calmed me down, explaining along the path everything they were doing for me! Canât thank them enough for their understanding and compassion!

Dr. Fu was very kind to my daughter. Because of COVID, we had to do a video chat which is hard enough. My six year old daughter had a tooth growing back a bit too far. I was appreciative that she didnât make us do a lot of stuff and instead is willing to go the conservative approach and wait to see if the tooth comes forward or not. I look forward to meeting her in person when we are able to do so.

Had a wonderful experience with my dentist C. Castellanos today. She went above and beyond my expectations. After trying several dentists around town I really havenât found anyone that canât beat the quality Shasta Community offers and the minimal cost of they charge.

What a great group of individuals to have the pleasure of being treated by. I felt as if I could take a test about dentistry and ace it when I left. The whole staff was great about breaking information down to âbig dummyâ level. I was not treated as an assembly line 10 minutes spot to simply get the person in and out which really leaves me feeling rushed and makes me forget the questions I have for the doctor. Found out some very important and helpful things in regards to diabetes and oral hygiene. The facility is kept remarkably clean and to my surprise I did not sit in the waiting room well past my appointment time ( which was also kept very clean). Thank you Shasta Community Health Dental!! I know without a doubt you make a difference in this community.
