Smile Quest Dental

I would not recommend this place for crowns or veneers, I went here to get veneers due to my tooth getting discolored, they suggested to do both my from teeth, one already had a crown and they suggested me to get new crown to match the veneer. But my experience with my crown was horrible, within 2 months my crown unbounded and was wiggling and caused me pain, the temporary tooth they put in was not sealed and had to revisit where they grinded it but that left my gums in pain as the grinder obviously grinded my gums too. After all that time of pain and discomfort , I hoped it goes good. They had my crown but coming home I don’t think it matches exactly in shape or shade. Maybe I’m overthinking this but the purpose of having to redo my crown was to get perfect shade and shape so that purpose is defeated. They would as well have done just my veneer and I would have taken my chances. On top of it that doctor said as my crown tooth is compromised, next time something happens they may have to pull the teeth out. That old crown was perfectly fine to begin with.

Great place! The staff is amazing! Corinthia is incredibly helpful and Lacey is so great to work with and very nice. Dr Collins is probably the best Dentist I've ever worked with. Smile quest has done a great job of putting together an elite staff. I've been going there for 5 years now and I don't think I've had a single bad experience. I'm not just typing this for lip service. I never do reviews, but they most certainly deserve one. They also make the best cookies!

Giampiero was excellent for my cleaning. One of the best RDH I have ever clean my teeth.

All I can say is that the staff and leadership here have redefined the dentist experience for me. I have always dreaded going to the dentist, yet these folks have changed my opinion of dentistry as a whole. Their staff is super professional and provide first timers an office tour and really do a good job of explaining the experience you will receive.
I only have good things to say about every single person I have dealt with and have already given their name out to my coworkers and friends, which I personally have never done for a dentist, as I have never enjoyed my previous dental experiences prior to finding Smile Quest.

Moved to area in July, new Dental services needed. I felt welcome and a beauty modern office, no writers cramps, iPad for paperwork, Dr. La Pierre was clear on explaining procedure/recommendations/professional, cares about patients. ALL the staff were warm friendly & professional.

I have had many visits to several different dentist in my lifetime, none of which were all that Pleasant. Not only did I receive substandard care, but never with any real bedside manner. However, when my dear friend, also an employee, recommended that I go-to Smile Quest I was a little hesitant. I was proved very wrong. This is by far the best dental experience I have ever had! Talk about personal care, Efficiency, wonderful staff, thorough team . All my questions were answered. I felt relaxed, as did my children and husband in the a spa like waiting room. They made going to the dentist nothing short of a anxiety free experience. No longer a chore! You feel like they are happy to provide you with care​, something that never happens at conventional dental offices, who make you feel rushed or plain like you are a burden. Mostly because the staff is happy, they enjoy what they do, they respect one another. I listened intently as fellow employees spoke with one another with encouragement and dignity and patience. I left feeling excited about spending money, feeling confident that they will deliver what they promised. Looking forward to having a healthy smile for years thanks to all at Smile Quest. I can't wait to get all my needs met. Again, what a wonderful experience.... A must . Worth looking​into. Thanks again!

I cannot express how grateful and happy I am with the beyond amazing service I received today from Dr Charles Smurthwaite and his fantastic assistant Zoe. I had an emergency appointment today (on a Saturday)when my crown popped off my front tooth. I called the after hours phone number at 9 AM and by 10:30 AM my tooth was completely fixed!! I am all smiles today and it is thanks to these two amazing people😁

Dr. Smurthwaite destroyed my life exactly 4 years ago on this day June 6 when the living nightmare became a reality that the 'VENEERS DIDN'T FIT' into my bite registration. I CAME IN WITH ONLY ONE BROKEN FRONT TOOTH crown from a childhood injury with a root canal in which I wanted to preserve with all my life as it was perfectly strong as ALL my teeth were. The doctor prompted me to get 4 anterior veneers and then he did not properly examine me during the consultation to see that I did not have space for this procedure. Because of this BIG mistake he caused a very serious TMJ disorder, which is a living nightmare to be understood by all people, and to be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS! My life was perfect before I walked in Dr. Smurthwaite's door and somehow he had a list of reasons why a person needs to protect their front teeth, but the opposite appears to be true that the front teeth may be the last place to get veneers or crowns once I understood the percentage of people that do not have 'extra' space for this. One 'small misalignment' could mean changing your bite position forever as it did with me and getting a diagnosis for a full mouth reconstruction as the only solution from Dr. Hinton - Dr. Smurthwaite's mentor - who is notably one of the best Prosthodontic dentists in the area who says my TMJ will never again be happy in my old bite position after this. One last option EVEN MORE invasive by specialized doctors have proposed Maxillary (or Skeletal Maxillary) Expansion with braces to follow and then cutting down every tooth to fit into a new bite position. These invasive treatments are the most unpredictable nightmares I could ever imagine happening when everything was perfect before this. Within one day the temporaries were breaking with TMJ disorder trauma already evident, and within one month it was shocking to experience over 101 symptoms unfolding from this 'misalignment' and to EMPHASIZE these symptoms WERE NEVER a part of my life prior. The following are only SOME of the ways this destroyed my life so that it's understood WHAT TMJ DISORDER CAN DO TO YOUR LIFE - which is the purpose of this review: 1. sleep disorder - lay awake ALL night now no REM recovery 2. breathing disorder from jaw forcing back 3. airway position narrowed 4. TMJ disorder now joints aren't happy in 'new' position 5. TMJ pain radiating all day 6. chewing muscles weak/pain when eating 7. tooth pain on every tooth 8. dental damage to every tooth filing down 10% of length 9. muscle spasms through face from misalignment 10. eye pain 11. severe vision loss - blurred and fuzzy 12. ear pain 13. tinnitus - ringing in the ears 14. vertigo 15. cranial bones popping daily 16. headaches 17. neck and shoulder pain 18. Root canal failure and pain on the front tooth I came in to fix (now infection on x-ray) 19. cannot safely get an extraction/implant for front tooth 20. difficulty swallowing food 21. aspiration of food into my lungs causing pulmonary fibrosis 22. vomiting blood because of it 23. food limitations - no more crunchy foods, vegetables, or even fruit 24. severe depression from debilitation 25. and financial obligations for the rest of my life! I just live my days in bed unable to even eat when the swallowing becomes bad. There are no words for this kind of suffering and starvation but starting treatment is complicated with no guarantees and only 50% recovery rate as many specialists surprisingly said, and thousands and thousands of dollars so I urge everyone to consider with CAUTION - WHY ALL OF THIS IS NOT WORTH IT! This was a HIGH RISK PROCEDURE because without my birthright to eat, sleep, and breathe - I have nothing. I wish I understood the severity of risks involved because my life certainly depended upon that moment I trusted Dr. Smurthwaite knew what he was doing. It's hard to understand what we DO HAVE until we LOSE it, especially basic functions of survival unimaginable to be ALL in the power of ONE doctor. This is a true life loss and I just want my life back:((

Very professional, considerate and friendly! I had a bit of an emergency with my wisdom tooth. They got me in right away. The visit exceeded my expectations! Very professional, gentle and as always friendly. What a wonderful job they did. A special thanks to my Dentist Charles; I wish more people ran there business like you. My first visit with Dr. Smurthwaite, Whitney and Tricia was awesome! The office is very high-tech and super clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and kind. They have all the dental services needed in house so you don't have to struggle visiting different specialists for different things. I loved that!
