Really caring and attentive. Go nowhere else. He is the best." Another customer said, "I recently saw Dr. Grantham here at this location after not seeing a dentist for over 2 years. I had many cavities and a broken tooth. Dr. Grantham and all the associates I had the pleasure of seeing were all absolutely fantastic. Very caring, they explained everything very well, and did fantastic work. Grade A. Would recommend for sure. I now have wife and children going here, and they are great with children too!"
However, some customers have criticized the clinic for its poor customer service. One customer said, "Called to schedule an appointment as a New patient and the receptionist Violeta I believe was her name, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. I explained to her more than ONCE that I wanted to schedule as a new patient and was in no pain. she kept asking what I needed to be seen for. Like am I supposed to know I need an OP in tooth number #12 or an RCT?" Another customer said, "My first visit with this office went pleasant, and I finally felt comfortable with a dentist. Dr. Heideman had created a care plan for me as I had quite a bit of work done. The first visit was smooth. My second visit came and went, I had some fillings done and they threw off my bite entirely. Through this time I also purchased a dental appliance as I grind and clench my teeth the assistant helping me was great; however again Dr. H was incredibly rude."

They don’t have a clue on how to treat or take care of there customers, wouldn’t even give them 1 star but I had to . They need to learn how do business before they open the doors to the public.

I have been to many dentist over the years for root canals and wisdom teeth and hands down I will say this comfort dental location and specifically Dr. Jeff is hands down the best dentist I've ever had. He made a root canal feel like a spa day believe it or not and him and his team have such positive attitudes. I pray God blesses them and favors them. If I could have given more stars I would have, highly recommend.

PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION WITH BETTER RATINGS, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AN ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT!
My husband and I have been going to this location for a little over 8 years. I had worked out a full treatment plan with Dr. Heiderman that would be broken up into 3 office visits. The accounting department figured out what all 3 visit would cost in total with my insurance. My first two visits went smooth with payment. They were both the quoted amount on the treatment plan. I called one day to confirm that my final visit would cost what was quoted and was told a completely different amount for way more money. I was explaining to the lady that was helping me about my account how my two prior visits were right on the money. She was very rude and that it is most likely the right amount and she would look into it. After she looked into she confirmed I was correct in the amount that was quoted on my treatment plan. I went round and round with their accounting department. They seem to not understand my insurance plan. My second visit I had 3 crowns done. My lady who was working on my crowns suggested I get the crown I had done at their office 3 years prior redone. I asked why and she said so it would be done the right way. The crown I had done 3 years ago was the first crown I've ever had done. After the 3 new crowns healed I knew the first one I had done at this office 3 years ago was a piss poor job! It is smaller than all of my other teeth, it sits further back than all my other, it's shorter, the gum is black and my original tooth is exposed. They even push it all the way up into the gum! I decided to put my treatment on hold due to a car accident, hearing about having my first crown redone having just having three put on and the accounting process being so stressful. Today I called to get the whole process going again. I wanted to schedule a cleaning and see when I can get my crown to finish my implant process that he had recommended. I found out that I am "No longer treatable". So, their office put me on the no fly zone due to account issues that they caused! I made an appointment at another Comfort Dental with way better ratings than this location.

My first visit with this office went pleasant, and I finally felt comfortable with a dentist. Dr. Hiedeman had created a care plan for me as I had quite a bit of work done. The first visit was smooth. My second visit came and went, I had some fillings done and they threw off my bite entirely. Through this time I also purchased a dental appliance as I grind and clench my teeth the assistant helping me was great; however again Dr H was incredibly rude. I went in several times attempting to correct my bite. I was told my “muscle memory was off” and that they wouldn’t adjust me anymore. Fast forward to receiving my mouth guard, I insisted my appliance did not fit properly… I paid just under 400$ for this, and was told it was just fine and I was the first person in 15 years to have an issue with the guard. Well Dr. H according to these reviews I am not, and it seems you actually get quite defensive when an issue is brought to you. My mouth guard in fact was incorrect and my private dentist got it down to its correct placement after spending time with me. It was sorely incorrect. It caused me immense jaw pain due to the incorrect placement. After getting a second opinion I have multiple fillings that have incorrect placement and causing me issues. My teeth are rough and jagged and not filled adequately. But they don’t care…. I payed hundreds out of pocket just to be rudely spoken to. Customer service matters. I was scheduled to get some remaining work done, even paid in advance needless to say I got my money back and will not be returning as I now have to fix and correct the fillings that were placed, that again threw my entire bite on the left side of my mouth off. I expect my other fillings to break off soon. Terrible service, terrible attentiveness, terrible attitude, and lazy. A change of profession should be considered if you have an issue with helping people.

The best and most absolute amazing experience I have ever had! Have had four different dentists in 38 years and dr. Sherman and his assistant Maria are by far the best team! MARIA'S ability to learn and work with quality and finesse is remarkable!
She was able to do filling as if they were real! Her ability to love what she does and work with others are just truly amazing! If there were an ability to tip, she deserves a tip that is equal to that of an implant replacement, for each tooth she worked on!
My teeth never looked so TOTE
😊 Thanks Maria 😊 🙏
Keep up your success

I went in this morning to get my front teeth checked because I wasn’t sure what was going on with them. Sure enough I needed them filled. Dr. D is pretty awesome he told me what needed to happen and I needed both front filled. Dr. D got them done this morning without making another appointment since I told him my schedule was pretty tight to come back on a different day. The staff was very friendly and they made me feel as comfortable as they could. I would recommend anyone coming here and I will be back to get the rest of the issues I have with my teeth!

I love this place. I needed braces and the head dentist was kind, and offered multiple options that worked for my lifestyle. I was able to receive clear braces and 1 year and some months later, I was able to have straight and healthy teeth. The staff was very sweet and I would recommend anyone who is willing to put in the hard work to go to this establishment. My husband will be getting his braces later this year :).

Just sent my friend in there to have a root canal and crown done. All I can say is it was perfect. Dr. Lee and Dr. Heideman and his assistants Lynn and Angelica are the best in Aurora maybe the whole state!

In short- DO NOT GO HERE. If you unfortunately have to choose to, make sure that DR. VARNER is NOT your dentist.
I've had two root canals done recently at this facility, one of which had to be stopped and continued a week later due to the endodontist choosing to work on an inflamed tooth that he couldn't numb.
Today I went in for what was supposed to be the crown for the first root canal, the right side.
I show up, get checked in, pay for both crowns collectively and take a seat in the chair. The tech comes back, bibs me up and then starts preparing casting a temporary crown for the wrong tooth- the tooth on the left side.
So I stopped her and asked her what she was doing, and conveyed that I thought we were supposed to do the right side crown first. She said "the paper says 19" (which is on the left side) and I asked her if there was a reason because the first root canal was on the right side. She cops an attitude with me and her explaination was that she "doesn't know- it just says that." I ask to speak to the dentist.
In enters Dr. Varner, not my assigned dentist- with an attitude- asking me "what my problem was." I explained to him the situation and asked for clarification as to which tooth we were crowning, because the right was done first, that I thought they needed crowns ideally within 2 weeks- per their own procedure paperwork- and the right one is already past that time frame due to the two part root canal on the other side. He then tells me I'm being "defensive". I say no, I'm confused and frustrated with the misunderstandings.
Rather than acknowledging what was probably a simple clerical error, Dr. Varner becomes rude and arrogantly says he'll look at both teeth that need crowns but he's "not my guy" and he's "not going to work on me now" and he will ask the other dentist (Dr. Rivard) if he's willing to. Willing to? Excuse me, I just paid you two grand, god forbid I want clarification on what is being done when and why- it's only my teeth ahd my money and your miscommunication.
Varner leaves the exam room and I sit for about five minutes and try to process the series of interactions- then overhear Varner talking about me being "difficult" to Rivard and decide that I'm going to reschedule with my assigned dentist.
I go to the desk and explain to the receptionist that I want my appointment rescheduled with my dentist. At this point, Varner, who is no longer involved in the interaction then pipes in that my previous dentist is gone- permanently; and asks if I need a referral to a new office- I can assure you I will never return to this one. My dentist leaving the practice was never conveyed to me prior to my appointment, which I feel it should have.I have severe dental anxiety and to be treated like my concerns make me difficult only demonstrates that Dr. Varner's bedside manner needs serious improvement.
Made them refund my money, a waste of time and frustration as I still need both my crowns- and now a new dentist practice, as Comfort has lost me as a patient permanently over this situation.

The staff was friendly and the dentists are knowledgeable and professional. I needed an extraction, and Dr. Doerhoff was able to get me in for an appointment without a long waiting period. He also is personable, which really helps out with people like me who are nervous about going to the dentist. I would definitely recommend Comfort Dental to anybody who needs to have dental work done!
