Crossroads Family Dentistry

I moved to Crossroads last year after going to a much smaller local practice for decades. The place is huge, able to accommodate many patients at once, and the equipment is the new and up to date. Each time I've been, Dr Tyng has been personable and patient, taking time to explain what he sees, options, next steps, and answer any questions. I love that the care plan for extra work includes all pricing so that you know what you're getting in to. Bonus points for a wonderfully diverse staff from the receptionist to the hygienists to the dentists!

After being a victim in a car crash causing a broken jaw and several missing teeth, I was so nervous about going to the dentist to clean and restore everything; but this entire team here at crossroads has truly made me feel so comfortable and has made this entire process as pleasant as it could possibly be for me. Chandra has especially gone out of her way to make sure I’m comfortable every time and has taken amazing care of me. It’s so greatly appreciated considering my circumstances. Anyone who has any fear of the dentist, this place will make it so much easier for you! Highly recommend.

Dr. Tyng and hygienists are great! I always leave the office with a renewed smile after a thorough examination and cleaning. One thing preventing me from providing a perfect rating is the front office staff’s lack of knowledge regarding my insurance. At checkout, the front office staff told me that my insurance only covers 50% for cleanings. This isn’t true as I’ve never paid anything out of pocket for cleanings. So, be advised that you’ll want to know what your insurance covers/doesn’t cover before you try this dental office.

The thing I think I like the most about this place is that the office is so nice and clean and new! All the receptionists were also extremely nice and they got me in the very next day. Finally, they allowed me to pay out of pocket when they didn’t accept my insurance instead of just turning me away like some of the other jerky places in town 🙄. They are great all around! I couldn’t recommend them enough.

The chairs in the waiting room are very hard for the elderly or overweight to stand up. Yesterday, my wife seriously hurt her back. The staff consistently tell patients not to sit on the chairs but they are never replaced.

Dental work done here is good but I am considering changing dentists just because of these waiting room chairs.

Are you considering being a new patient? More like a new source of income to them. They don’t care about your health all they care is that you can pay for your bill. I started as new patient this year and sure enough I get a qouted for more work than I was expecting. On my second visit I got charged extra money than I was told from the beginning and when I ask why was it higher, simply said it was just a quote. I had a third visit set up and I couldn’t make it so they just simply forgot about me because I told them that budget was a concern. I will keep looking for better more patient oriented dentist than this one. Try them at your own risk, of them leaching money of you.

I've been going here for four years. I've had a number of fillings and a crown done here. I have had issues with the crown and one of the fillings.

My last visit, to replace the faulty filling, they were an hour and a half late. They did not communicate well how late they would actually be.

I'm not sure how they keep staff, every time I've been in they have different hygienist and receptionist. They've also had three different dentists in the time I've been going. If the last dentist was still there I wouldn't leave. Over all I'm disappointed

Absolutely the best dental experience that my son and I have experienced. Very friendly staff. Jelly was very knowledgeable, kind and such an amazing listener. Dr. Tyng came in and was just as kind. We had a great laugh.

X-ray experience didn’t hurt. Updated, modern equipment and office space. Very clean and welcoming.

I adore this particular office. Highly recommend.

We're new in town & I had a crown break. A friend recommended Dr Tyng at Crossroads Family Dentistry. The compassion and care we received were simply fantastic. If you're in the region and need dental care - look no further.

I just recently switched over to Crossroads Family Dentistry and was glad that I did. I could not believe the advanced technology they had, along with the professional Dentist, Dr. Crystal Mendoza, DDS, and Registered Dental Hygienist, Chandra, that I was introduced to for my first check-up. Both were GREAT to let me know and understand procedures that would be necessary in the very near future in order to avoid major concerns and additional costs to me. One of these procedures, not mentioned in my past dental check-ups with previous dentist, was a couple of front cracked teeth, that if left alone, would eventually crack all of the way through, and most likely been a disaster since they would no longer be able to put a cap on them. I really appreciate that a lot and plan on getting that procedure done in the next month. Chandra gave me a teeth cleaning that I had never experienced with any of my past dentist visits with others. She let me know every step of the way what to expect and let me know everything that she was going to do prior to each step in order to make me feel comfortable. I thank Dr. Mendoza and Chandra as they both exceeded way beyond my expectations and I am so happy that I am now a patient at Crossroads Family Dentistry to say the least!!!!! Since I know that there are only 5 Stars, I give them both 10 STARS anyway!!!! Richard T.
