Hands down , the best dental practice in Denver. Dr. James Downs is a superstar and his new partner Dr. Ben Baranes is equally superb. They are highly trained in the latest technology and techniques and maintain an outstanding team to support them. Just had Dr. Ben work on a complex situation involving two crowns. Excellent experience.

Dr. Downs has been my dentist since I moved back to Denver in 2015. I have had priblems with teeth sensitivity & do not always get numb with shots. Dr. Downs always takes the time to listen to my concerns. My hygienist listens as well and she is one of the best I have had worked with.

Update 3/25...I choose not to give details, just initially a 3 star advisory that the practice has been sold.
Since then I have received 2 calls asking me to remove this review and to rethink if I wanted to continue being a patient. Given that I am no longer a patient.
I thought long and hard about updating the review.
Since info on my visit has been shared let me give some more details. YES, I did refuse x-rays I had a headache, because of that the new owner refused to examine me, fine. I was was disappointed but I see their point. I did not appreciate being talked down to and felt as if I was being bullied into a procedure I didn't want.
