Central Park Modern Dentistry

I was pleasantly greeted, they attended to me promptly, little waiting, they addressed all my concerns thoroughly, they went through my x-ray with me. They gave me numerous treatment options and explained the pros and cons of each treatment plan. I was very pleased with the attention and thoroughness of the exam. I would definitely recommend Central Park Modern Dentistry.

Unfortunately, this is not a reliable or consistent practice. While my first experience went as expected, my second visit will be my last.

The cleaning and overall experience was extremely messy and careless. I have been going to the dentist religiously (twice a year since I had teeth) and there were many standard practices that were missed or performed sloppily.

1) Most importantly, the dentist did not come to examine me.
2) My gums were not examined whatsoever before the cleaning began.
3) The plaque scraping (cleaning) was extremely minimal and I can still feel plaque in certain areas
4) The tooth "polish" was not washed off by the hygienist. Typically this is washed off while the liquid is simultaneously absorbed. I was instead told to gargle it myself. This left much excess polish and grit in my mouth that I washed out when I got home.
5) There was zero patient/hygienist communication throughout the entirety cleaning. I have no idea if I have any areas of concern, I was not asked if I have anything I'm concerned about, etc.

This was a large waste of my time, and I have never experienced such a poor dental visit in my entire dental lifespan.

I will be moving practices, but this review serves mainly to inform management of the missteps and lack of training. People come to the dentist for cleanings, but more importantly to get a pulse on their dental health. I got neither of these things during my visit, and this is extremely concerning for new and existing patients with potential causes of concern.

I am so happy and glad about finding this organization compared to the other ones I have been to in the past and at 60 yrs old I have been to a few! The best by far I no longer fear the Dentist! Thank goodness for Central Park Modern Dentistry and Dr.Phan and associates!

I didn't get her name but the receptionist was extremely rude to me on the phone about having medicaid. I'm on maternity leave and had a few questions and she was not helpful at all. Used zocdoc to schedule appt. and it said they took medicaid... super unprofessional.

Been going to see Dr. Phan for 3 years now since I moved to Denver. The number one thing that she doesn’t do is oversell you on what actually needs attention.

I got quotes for 6 cavity fillings by Perfect Teeth off of Speer…. Dr. Phan quoted 2.

Recently I went to get a new retainer requesting to get top and bottom. She asked a few questions and advised to only get one.

She’s extremely trustworthy and does not just think about earning commissions.

Her entire staff is all so so kind. I refuse to go to another dentist. They’re A+++
