Nouvelle Dentistry

I had an appointment back in March. The place is tidy but very fashionable, I like the black and white color scheme. The staff isn't very large so if someone is in before you, you may have to wait. If you didn't bring a book or bring anything with you to pass the time, you can always watch Netflix. The chairs are very comfy, they don't hurt my back like most chairs. Since the staff isn't very big, there's more of a hands on touch. The doctor is very knowledgeable and it shows in her technique, I rarely ever felt any pain when instruments of different shapes were in my mouth. You get a bag of dental goodies afterwards. It was nice because I had no floss at home. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.

I've been meaning to write this review for a while because I can't say enough good things about Nouvelle Dentistry.

My initial appointment was very thorough and was extremely professional, while being pleasantly personal. Michelle did an excellent job of welcoming me and checking me in, after which I only waited a minute or two before Nicole took radiographs of my teeth. Nicole was great and got excellent images in almost no time at all. Afterwards, she guided me into the exam room and made sure that I was comfortable and that I knew how to work the in-chair entertainment system (which was great, by the way). A few moments later Dr. Phi came in and conducted a very comprehensive exam. She showed me essentially every tooth in my mouth with her high-definition camera (my favorite part) and gave me personalized advice on where I should focus more when I brush my teeth. She did an expert job of cleaning my teeth and answering my questions and then handed me back over to Nicole for the final polishing. After all of this my mouth felt spotless. They then offered to fit me for a free custom whitening tray, which I gladly accepted. Overall, my first experience could not have been better.

Yesterday Michelle called me to let me know that my whitening trays were ready to go and that they could fit me in today to pick them up. They spent about fifteen minutes explaining the trays to me to ensure that I could whiten my teeth on my own (as a side note, these aren't the kinds of trays you see at Target, these are definitely professional-grade custom trays). They also included the whitening gel (that they'll refill for free as long as I'm a patient) and the molds of my teeth! They have an exceptional deal on some amazing electric toothbrushes, so I purchased one for myself and one for my girlfriend (they offer them at cost, so they were much cheaper than they are at Target or Amazon Prime and they even came with mouthwash, floss, and toothpaste). After this, I mentioned to Dr. Phi that one of my teeth has been a bit cold sensitive lately and she immediately provided me with a tube of prescription remineralizing toothpaste in order to fix the problem!

I could not be more pleased with every aspect of the service provided to me by Dr. Phi and her exceptional staff. I'll definitely be going to Nouvelle Dentistry for all of my future dentistry needs! Thanks again!

From receptionist to walking out the door, this office has a tight grasp on customer service.

Dr. Phi is organized, detailed, thorough, personable, knowledgeable and kind! She is an expert at her work, having the most updated technology and skills. From the small camera that can take pictures of the posterior portions of back of your teeth to xray technology that is absolutely stunning, and she can put it all on the tv screen in from of you if you wish to see.

The best thing is how kind she is. She remembers who you are and details on your life. It's a small enough practice that you are not another "joe" walking in the door, you are someone she cares about. She has warned me away from expenses that were not needed for my benefit.

She turned my mouth 180 degrees around. She has worked with me for 3 years now, improving my teeth and gums every step of the way, and all with extreme care.

When living out of the state last year, I flew in to town just to see her. I will go no where else. Thank you Dr. Phi for all that you do! I think you are the absolute best!

I hadn't gone to the dentist for 7 years, so I didn't expect a good visit. A deep cleaning was the sentence! I'm happy to report that I served my time in a very comfortable chair watching Thor. At the end, I was simply amazed at how quick and painless it was. This dentist is a natural! You can't teach that stuff in school. I'm coming back in 6 months!

I want to encourage anyone with very difficult past experiences to give Dr. Phi and her amazing staff a chance to help you. I know you will be amazed at the compassionate and gentle treatment they shower you with, and they are so very talented. From the front door, all the way through, you will be so glad you are there. Previously unpleasant and scary procedures from the past will be replaced with consistent and unconditional respect (no judgement or guilt). All they want to do is help and make it better. You can trust them, and I was in a VERY non-trusting place when I walked through their door, so it's a big step for me to feel that way. They even have a relaxing (yes, it's possible!) chair that warms your back and lets you vibrate your tension away while they work. They are truly empathetic and will help you get through every step you need to take. You can watch TV shows and they don't take it personally when you need nitrous oxide to overcome previous scars. You will feel accepted, supported and extremely well cared for.

Went to get my crown installed. It didn’t fit quite right. Rather than do an iffy job, she ordered another crown for me. I appreciate the quality in her work!

I can't even believe the customer service I have received from this business. I went to this provider for about 2 years and had a myriad of things go wrong - broken equipment was the norm, billing issues, they literally sprayed me with the water pick all over my face and back, they seemed more concerned about selling me an electric toothbrush each time I was there than the actual care, and worst of all, the Dr. really messed up a cavity that I have since had to get fixed at a different dentist. After the botched filling I decided to never go back and I haven't. I then received an email a couple months ago that I had an unpaid balance from 2017... yes 2 years ago that I had never been contacted about. When I told them that this was the first I was hearing about this they responded that they had sent statements to my address in Highalnds Ranch. Well, I moved from Highlands Ranch in 2016... a full year before the service was even rendered! Never was I asked to update information while there and I never received a call or email in the 2 years regarding the balance, although they proved perfectly capable of emailing 2 months ago. Once I explained my concern about not being contacted in 2 years they then offered to take 50% off the balance which I was very appreciative for. I asked for an updated invoice to be sent to my new address and once that was received I have tried to call 3 times to pay by credit card. All of which were during working hours and never once was I able to get ahold of someone. When I received an email this week threatening collections I then called back this morning and was told that they would no longer honor the 50% off of the balance and they would send me to collections.... Mary then proceeded to tell me she had another call and hung up on me! I own my own business and usually would never think of writing a bad review on social media because I know how reviews can be used as leverage... this is not the case here. I am just so appalled at the customer service and business practices that I simply could not not let others know. I have attached a copy of the email stating the 50% off offer that was then rescinded when I was hung up on! Please be aware!!!

Well, I can't speak to how good the dentistry is there because I couldn't make it past the incompetent front desk. I called and gave them my insurance information off my card and the phone number. After I filled out the paperwork she asked for my card then told me they didn't except my insurance. They suggested I call my provider and ask for doctors names. I did this half hour later to find they were the second name on the list. I then called back hoping they could get me in due to the pain in my tooth and they said maybe at 2 PM that day. I called them at 1:45 to check in. No answer no call back. Get a call three days later asking me if I still want to come in at 2 PM. The tooth was long gone already at this point. Very unprofessional to say the least.

So glad I found Nouvelle Dentistry and Dr. Phi. I came from another dentist who wanted to do all sorts of work, but Dr. Phi said it wasn't necessary at this point. You can tell she cares about just doing what is necessary and not just about doing anything and everything like some other dentists.
