Very thorough exam with careful X-rays taken. Every step of the process was explained. Happy new patient!

Stay away from this place. While the staff may look nice and welcoming, they will recommend procedures you do not need and they will try to charge you more than contractually agreed. Do not let them to keep your credit card on file. They may use it to charge you without your approval, even if you are not on a recurring payment plan. If you are already a patient, keep track of your receipts and what you pay, and make sure you are not overpaying. I have just filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you had similar experiences with this "business", please do the same.

I had a cracked a back tooth less than 2 years ago and they replaced it with a porcelain crown which is supposed to last for 10 years. I paid $800 CASH (not insurance) and less than two year later the crown cracked in half eating an apple. This was my first crown and I took very good care of it. Last night, eating rice, the crown cracked some more. I called and they said I need to come into their office, which is rediculous since I live in Florida now. My Dentist here is going to put in a regular silver crown which my insurance covers and Marketplace Dental never offered me that option. The office manager basically said "sorry, not sorry but you would have to come to our office". My current dentist in FL is preparing a full write up with xrays... Marketplace dental owes me money and i am certain they are not going to pay. I would be happy with half.. But the office manager made it clear that i got screwed. Do NOT do the Porcelain crowns... It is a cash cow for them and a nightmare for you that will have to be redone. I do work for an airline and just may take them to small claims for the whole $800 since I have a full write up with xrays from my current dentist.

The dentists at this office are outstanding, they take the time to show you your x-rays and explain to you what needs to be done, they put the patient as priority and care about their patients. The staff is really friendly. I RECOMMEND you come check this office out. You won't regret it!

I went to this office for five years. The first two years were great, when Dr. Thomason, Dr. Moss, and Dallas the hygienist were there. Then, they all left and for three years every visit I had was with a completely different dentist, different hygienist, and different receptionist. That was for three years! Thus, there was zero continuity and no chance at all to establish a trusting relationship with the people caring for your health.
I finally had it at my last visit when the dentist extracted a tooth, and it was a really tough extraction. While I certainly do not blame him for the tough extraction (they can happen), he was not comforting or nice in the least, which made it somewhat traumatizing (dentist from Little Shop of Horrors anyone?). When I asked if he was going to prescribe pain medication he basically laughed in my face as if only the weak need pain meds. On top of that, he told me I "urgently needed to get two crowns replaced" and should come back ASAP.
Thankfully, I decided after that extraction that I was done with the place. I went to a new dentist and told that dentist that I was "due for new crowns". The new dentist did an exam and concluded that my crowns were "perfectly fine" and was baffled why I was told they needed to be replaced. So yeah, all the reviews that this place is crooked are true. I would give one star, but since my first two years at this place were great, I feel as if I owe them two.

Great people! Came in with quite a few problems including cracked tooth and multiple cavities. Got a plan drawn up to address everything (and misty went over and answered all my questions regarding payments and costs). Had to get a temp crown for canal, which came off next day (...maybe my fault)- but dr. Dickmann was so kind as to offer to come in on her day off to repair it if I was in pain. Even got a small discount and a complimentary electric toothbrush that would not have been cheap! Very happy overall.

I have been going to Marketplace Dental for about 4 years. Before switching to them, I compared their My Smile Plan pricing to what I was currently paying and found I would save money with Marketplace. I do not have dental insurance, it's all out of pocket. Dr Moss and the dental team have always been very friendly, informative and thorough. I have not had any major dental work done, only cleanings and xrays.

Keep Looking. As many reviews have pointed out, and I have experienced first hand, their services are well overpriced. You can guarantee they will find something and they will convince you they need to take care of it immediately (for more than another dentist or ortho would charge shoulf you actually need this service) and they'll schedule you for that appointment and take your deposit money right there in the chair - bib on and all. Chances are, you don't even need this service. But they want your money.
New patient (I hope you're not)? Here's a mug filled with the chewiest candy and sugar drinks so you'll have to come back with all those new cavities and ripped out fillings. I have never been to a dentist that didn't give floss and toothpaste, until now. Candy!? Shameless evidence they don't care about your dental health, just your wallet.

This place started off okay, but now it's a disaster. I had to have a tooth extracted, and the surgeon refused to use enough Novocaine. After asking for more several times I finally finished the procedure, though my shirt was soaked in sweat, and I was shaking.
Over a period of several visits I noticed that there was a lot of turnover in their dental assistants, but I didn't think too much of it.
Then, several months later, I started getting postcards and phone calls from debt collectors. It turns out their accounting system is screwed up, so even though I paid with my credit card every time I left their office, and have receipts to back them up, they turned me in to debt collectors. They never called or sent me a letter to say they thought I was late, they just did this.
I've been to their office several times to ask to speak to someone about this, and that person is never in. It turns out the dentist I liked is no longer there, and two of their "office managers" are also gone.
In short, I recommend staying far away from this place.

Dentist I saw for years.started working there, and one appt. I had a new dentist, and wasn’t even informed of change. My dentist was let go - seems like I would have wanted to know that. Needed new bridge and ended up with periodontal disease (automatic high dollar cleanings every 4 months not 6), sinus lift, bone grafts, and implants. Several thousands later I do have nice implants rather than a bridge. Was NEVER shown before and after bone graft xrays showing need and improvement. This whole thing took months and EVERY time I went in for the next step in the process it was a different periodontist. What they do should be criminal.
3/12/19 - my new dentist has informed me, that my tooth that had a root canal done at Marketplace, has a tendril of a root that wasn’t removed, and now I need another to fix it. Thanks Marketplace, nothing better than two root canals on the same tooth!
