The service is good, but there is ALWAYS a wait. Our recent appt was at 8:30, and we arrived at 8:20. When I signed it, I remember seeing people on the sign in sheet who were arriving at the same time or earlier than us and their appt was at 9am. Since they signed in first, they were seen first! That doesn’t make any sense to me. You should be seen based on appointment time.

Our family used to live in DC and we were the adventure family. When we moved to Maryland in 2014 we were forced to change our doctors, we changed the primary doctors and declined to change the dental because we believed that we can’t find anywhere like adventure who can take care of us like a family. We convinced the insurance and made it to stay with adventure and we been with adventure more than a decade without any issues. BROVO ADVENTURE!!! Our family ♥️ You all adventure staff

This office has horrible customer service and refuses to be accountable for their own poor scheduling habits. They frequently cancelled appointments for my niece citing the reason for cancellation as the dentist not being available. Why schedule in the first place then? My niece is a teacher and her students need her to be available. Adventure Dental's office staff has no respect or regard for their clients schedules, and even blame them for their repeat cancellations. Terrible office staff.

The customer service is great & the dentist really know how to connect to my daughter. I have 4 stars because there isn't any parking but street 1 hour & once you make it to the back it normally takes up to 2-2.5 hours for the complete visit because they usually have book many appts at the same time. This is very inconvenient because I have to leave to keep paying the meters.

They are awful, unorganized, unprofessional had four appointment with this circus on Georgia if it's not canceled it's alway something my child goes for an orthodontist appointment they always say we have her done for a cleaning, they are defrauding the government charge them for services that wasn't done. Oh that star is not for Georgia ave,it's for Landover hills. Georgia Ave (O).

I came here instead of my usual dentist because her practice is closed due to the pandemic. I read the reviews and was a little worried about the service. I had to have a cavity filled for the first time in my life. Everything was fine up until the point the actual procedure began. The doctor and dental assistant were quite unprofessional and were gossiping about their coworkers’ lack of knowledge about certain dental tools (I would hope that everybody there would know how to do their job...). At one point, there was a lot of fluid in my mouth and the dentist made a joke about me drowning instead of reaching for the suction device. Not to mention, the doctor also got the local anesthetic on my tongue.

Anyway, that same day I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning the following month (aka today). I went on the online portal yesterday to double check the time and there was NO appointment listed on there. I tried leaving a voicemail last night but it did not let me. So I called this morning (at 9:45am, well past when they are open) and no one picked up!!! I called twice and let the phone ring for several minutes. I don’t know what kind of place cancels a patient’s appointment without advising them AND doesn’t pick up patients’ calls.

This place is poorly run and staffed. Save your time and don’t come here. Try to find a better dentist to take care of your teeth.

I explained over the phone when I called, that my 3yro needed fillings and that her regular dentist wrote us a referral because you all would be able to sedate her. When we arrived I filled out your ridiculous documents asking for my birthdate/occupation/etc. EVEN THOUGH I explained the situation, that we only needed to get fillings and the procedure she needed is covered by her health insurance. All y’all did was clean her teeth (which she had done a month ago, when we got the referral) and hand me another referral because you all don’t do fillings/sedate children her age. All of which could have been told to me over the phone when I called the first time. If the staff wasn’t so nice I would’ve exploded at the disregard for people’s time and energy.

Adventure Dental made my three year olds first dental experience amazing! They were very gentle and patient with him. He remained calm throughout the entire process, which was a surprise, because brushing is sometimes a struggle for us at home. The atmosphere was very child friendly, and they had personal television's for each child to watch while getting their teeth cleaned. We will definitely make this his primary dentist office.

Staff are the most professional people I have ever encountered very inviting and caring most of all understanding…. Keep up the great work/service

Staff is incompetent. Hard to schedule/reschedule appointments by phone. Staff answers the phone and immediately place you on hold and never return.
