7/23/20 I had a appointment and was called to the back. The assistant made me feel uncomfortable soon as she called me to the back . I’m Muslim and wear a face veil for religious purposes. She said I see you came with your own mask jokingly. Which was a insult to me. My face veil is not a mask. But everyone has some type of face covering in the office due to the pandemic. Now when the doctor came to see me she made a comment about my face veil too . Implied that people who wear the face veil wanted to hide cause people couldn’t tell who they was. I disagreed with her because again it’s for religious purposes. She asked me what the proper name for it I told her. The assistant did apologize after I let her know how uncomfortable she made feel . She said she was only joking but I didn’t find it funny.

The ortho in here sucks. They are slow and did not give my son options with his teeth. I believe he will need braces again from professionals. His braces were on for almost 4 years and I paid upfront and as of right now very dissatisfied.

The worst dental office in town. I believe because so many patients have government insurance they find it ok to slack around. This place isn’t even organized enough to keep up with their appointment books! I HIGHLY suggest calling your insurance company and finding a different in network dental provider.

As always I and my children loved the staff!
A couple of concerns emerged this visit, though.
1) i was in today with my two children, 1 1/2 year old and a 4 1/2 year old. To save time it was suggested that the older child could have his teeth cleaned by himself while I stayed with my toddler in a side room. I thought this would be fine. We were separated but neither of us were seen for some time. While my 4year old is mature enough to be by himself with a hygienist to get his teeth cleaned, he became restless with waiting and climbed on one of the benches to look through the window. The benches don’t have rubber on the base of the legs (the clearly should) and the bench slid out completely from under him away from the wall and he fell and hit his head on the floor. I know everyone had the best of intentions but I think it’s important to be aware of this. I believe he’s fine, but he could have very seriously injured himself. I’m actually a bit surprised that he came out of it as well as he did. I didn’t see what happened and am going off what he described to me. It would have been good for someone to explain to me what had happened. Layer a dentist asked if he’d been given an ice pack but he hadn’t. As far as I know he never was. Happy to discuss if you like.
2) much less serious, but something that was on my mind befor the other incident is that I don’t think the television contén on in the waiting room is appropriate. I know it’s meant for kids, but it is quite violent. I think there would be ways to have the space fun and entertaining for kids with more high quality tv. This tome there was a Spider-Man cartoon which was full of bullying, fighting and a lot of negative themes. Last time I was in there was a Star Wars cartoon that was also pretty violent for a 4-year old, and m my view not so great for older children either.

Very pleased with on time service. Techs were very friendly and the Dr went out her way to see my son without having an orthodontist appointment. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
