We are treated like family at DD. My hygienist Elizabeth is awesome and all the dentists are great. My husband, two grown kids now and I have been going here for more than 15 years!

You are greeted by name by a receptionist who has been there for years. If a few minutes early for your appointment, you can frequently meet your friends and neighbors while waiting. Then after the briefest of waits, your hygienist or X-ray tech will walk you back into spotless facilities - where again, they know your name and have been with this practice for years. They take pride in making you feel comfortable, and as I am a high stress patient, their warm personal touch eases my anxiety. You can plan on getting in and out on-time, including a visit from the dentist who reviews your dental history, the X-rays and teeth. You can tell that the dentist respects the hygienist and seeks her opinion on your oral care and anything she has noted. It’s a team working on your behalf and their attitudes toward each other improves your overall experience. Lastly a follow up call today was handled competently and quickly, leaving me fully confident that my message would be handled properly.

My wife might suggest that it takes a entire village to overcome my anxiety about going to the dentist but having a warm and caring professional dental team keeps me coming back.

What a wonderful Dental experience! First of all, I called the office previous to my appointment to let them know I was having car difficulty and didn’t know how late I might be and they were very reassuring about it. Then, I made my appointment a little late and was greeted by a kind professional hygienist. She put me right at ease. She even discovered two trouble spots with my teeth and had a dentist check them out. He was wonderful, friendly amusing but very professional. As a Senior Lady I’ve had a lifetime of dental woes. However, I don’t fear going to the dentist anymore. They have taught me how to avoid cavities and gum problems and I am so grateful I have the Distinctive Dentistry practice as my dental professionals. Carol Kent

I have been going to Distinctive Dentistry in Maitland for many years. It's been a little over a year (because of the pandemic) since my last visit. All the Dentists and office staff are all very warm and welcoming. It was good to see Sarah, my hygienist once again! She is very friendly and goes out of her way to make sure I'm comfortable throughout my visit--from taking the necessary x-rays and the cleaning. She is very gentle and very thorough! It's always a pleasant experience. The office is clean and they follow infection control protocol. I felt very safe there.

The office staff is very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Zak is so nice and gave me a very comprehensive exam. The office is extremely clean and there is a beautiful view from the exam rooms. A great experience! I’m so happy to have found my forever dentist!

I called after breaking a crown, to my surprise, they treated it like an emergency and gave me an appointment within 2 days, apologizing for not being able to see me next day. I was able to do all the paperwork online and upon arrival, only had short wait before being called back. The dental assistant was knowledgeable and attentive, the dentist used methods that were new to me and made all procedures absolutely painless.
