Distinctive Dentistry on Maitland

I am a senior who has never previously responded to a service providers request for a review. I do so because of the extraordinary treatment I received from Dr Tim Lane and his staff

Several months ago I had the worst dental problem of a long life with the pain such that I could not eat (and that is a real problem for me!). I called Dr Lane's office late in the day and was given an appointment for lunchtime the next day. Dr Lane undertook the problem and took the extended time necessary to get me temporary relief. I left his office pain free. Although I clearly interrupted the schedule, I never felt I was a burden and was treated kindly and with respect.

Dr Lane's staff then took over obtaining a timely appointment with a qualified specialist to do the necessary root canal procedure. This eliminated for me the often frustration process of scheduling a medical appointment.

My tooth has been saved and the process just completed with the placement of a permanent crown. Throughout the entire process Dr Lane and his staff were extremely professional, personable and welcoming. While there are many competent medical professionals there are too few that treat both the problem and the person, as Dr Lane and his staff do.

I dislike going to the dentist. I'm so happy I found this office. They are the best. I've had so many disappointed visits to the dentist since my dentist pass away but I can truly say they are great. I give them a 10 rating with the highest number being10. If you are looking for a dentist I recommend them. You want regret it.

Dr. McCauley is a one of kind man. He is compassionate, caring, and overall an amazing doctor. I couldn’t imagine being under the care of anyone else. His staff is wonderful and kind. I recommend this office to everyone.

I enjoy going to the dentist when I visit Distinctive Dentistry. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Dr. McCauley is very thorough and only recommends procedures when necessary. This is appreciated.

This week, I made the decision to find a dentist closer to where I live. I wanted the personal touch and to be called by my name and not just a person in the crowd.

My husband has been raving about Distinctive Dentistry for years but I am loyal to a fault, so even though my first dental office closed, I went to their sister office. In the past year, the drive and non personal touches were not there like they were at the Maitland dentistry, so decided it was time to get closer to home.

I am kicking myself for not moving over sooner to Distinctive Dentistry as these people are the real deal. They are personable and beyond fun, know your name, greet you as you come in, help you beyond what you might need and always with the mask smile and laughter that could calm anyone down, especially if you are in pain.

I saw Dr Lane who spent an hour with me going over my chart, telling me what he was looking for in my mouth and giving me information as he poked around my mouth so I knew exactly what he was doing and why. I have never had such a thorough exam ever! Plus he has a great smile behind that mask. He was very professional and knowledgeable.

Then there was what I was waiting for, the hygienist, as on the whole I have been having my teeth cleaned for 2-3 times each year for over 40 years due to a build up issue on my teeth. So I was very interested to see how we would get along.

I need not have worried as Michelle was not only personable, but funny and we hit it off like best friends. She also took the time as she went through my mouth. checking out each tooth and told me where I needed to spend more time on my cleaning.

Oh and you will NEVER forget your appointment, as they send you texts so you have no excuse not to come in and see them. Plus you will like the goodie bags they give out too.

There is no way you will be in pain after you have been in that office with all those mask smiles and friendly people - so caring. Just sitting and listening in the lobby to the girls chatting with customers truly showed me that I picked the right dental office. They LOVE their patients.

My whole family are patients with this wonderful office. Everyone is so professional and super kind. What impressed me from the start how clean everything is. They all do a fantastic job and getting the letter once in a while with the latest update is nice. Dr Lane is my very special person. He took care of mom in her last days with such kindness, I will never forget it. I will be a patient in this office for the rest of my life. I thank ALL of you for the beautiful card after mom passed. I was so impressed. Thank you.

My visit to this dental office was wonderful. Everyone is very friendly. Carrie does a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. Kelly is so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this dental practice!!

I usually don’t enjoy going to the dentist. I had an amazing experience there today. Today was my first time here. The staff is amazing, caring and professional. I can’t believe how much time Dr. McCauley spent with me. Anna-Maria and Donna are both class acts and were very gentle during my cleaning and exam. I really had a great experience. My teenager also had an appointment and he had a positive experience as well.

Dr. McCauley and staff were amazing. My wife and I recently moved back to town from out of state and their staff made us feel right at home again. From going out of their way to fit me in last minute, to the ease of digitally filling out the new patient forms and every step in between. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
