Crestview Family Dentistry

Avoided the dentist for 18 years because of such scary memories from my childhood dentist but decided I needed to grow up at 36 and get a cleaning and see how my teeth were progressing. I was lucky to say I only had 2 small cavities and a small one also that had formed underneath an old filling.

Dr. Wayer was very patient in dealing with me shaking and completely fearful when I first heard the drill. She had given me so many pain killers that I didn't really feel anything (to my delight!!). My teeth also were well cleaned and I plan on using their office for the rest of my life.

I will also be transferring my 3 children over to her because I believe she would do an even better job than their old pediatric dentist. Highly recommend and will add another review once my kids get to try her out too!!

Buyer beware!!! If you go here it will cost you. Even with two dental insurance policies I ended up having to pay $75 for a simple cleaning. This is because the person who files the insurance here are to lazy to file secondary insurance. I was told that I could make a claim with my secondary insurance myself but after spending over 2 hours on the phone with my insurance company I found out that this was not true. The insurance company required a claim form from which Crestview Family Dentistry refused to provide even after numerous attempts.

If you are military DO NOT go here. I am not one to take my time writing reviews, but I want to warn everyone before they get as screwed over as me. They made it very unclear that they weren't in network with military insurance, and when the military switched insurances things got even worse. AFTER they did some expensive procedures, they told me I owed 400 dollars-- AFTER insurance. I asked why it wasn't the smaller sum I had been quoted and they explained that when the military switched to United Concordia the amount covered changed. I asked, "why wasn't I told BEFORE the procedure," and they told me, "that was your responsibilty." I work two jobs, including the military, and take care of a family of four on my own. I cannot afford bills like this. When I expressed that I didn't have that kind of money, they had no options, save open a freaking credit card. As I am in great health, a credit card for one expense, just seemed ridiculous. When I was leaving they asked, "Can we make your next appointment?" Ahahahaha, funny joke. Then I made a half and half payment plan, it seemed fine, NOW I was charged 100 dollars extra because I didn't pay it off all at once. I cannot WAIT to be done with this place. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else. Some place that doesn't charge extra money to military when they are trying to make right on their debts, and who doesn't wait until AFTER expensive procedures to WARN someone that their insurance covers next to NONE of what they're doing.
I will warn everyone I know, and because of feeling the need to be dishonest and charge me extra, they'll lose out on A LOT of business.

I called in a day before as a new patient and not only were they able to squeeze me in for an appointment the next day, they also managed to get me in for a cleaning later that afternoon.

I really miss doctor Jennifer Wayer but the new staff is great too!

Friendly staff and good atmosphere but expensive service, even with insurance. They don't do second isurance.
