I've had an appointment scheduled with this office for over 2 months. The day finally comes and I get a call telling me that the doctor is sick and will have to reschedule my appointment... normally that would be fine but the next available appt is FIVE MONTHS AWAY. They make a Mistake and make the customer/patient pay for it. Find a different dentist because the patient clearly isn't whats most important to them.

Office is great and staff are friendly, however, good luck getting an appointment. I waited 3 months for a cleaning just to be called the day before my cleaning for them to tell me I need to wait 3 more months for an appointment. I'll take my business elsewhere to a place where they actually care about they're patients.

Just amazing. Katie and Dr. Hank, plus one other nurse that I didn’t catch her name but was helping me, were positive and fun. I had to have a tooth extracted that was past its prime and they made it an enjoyable experience (as weird as that may sound).

Update: The office manager reached out to me this morning and explained there was a miscommunication and their other doctor is actually in-network for me. She was so kind and apologetic and got me squared away.
The staff is very friendly. However, I was really upset when I came in for my initial visit, spent over an hour and a half being x-rayed, poked etc. to create a treatment plan for a tooth that was hurting along with some other issues. Only after they did all this, did they share with me that the only doctor in their office that takes my insurance was leaving in a couple of weeks and wouldn’t be there to do my treatment plan. So now I’m stuck with a sore tooth and waiting for my benefits to reset at the start of the year to find another dentist and go through it all again. 🙁

This was my first time at Okaloosa Family Dentistry. I needed a crown after a root canal and they were able to see me quickly to get everything I need. Everyone in the office that spoke to me was very nice and wanted to do anything they could to make me feel comfortable.

I would most certainly recommend ofd as a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable dental business. from the manager, to the office girls, dentists and dental assistants, they are awesome. do not hesitate to schedule a visit with them. they even squeezed me in today to cement a crown. I called on Friday morning at 9 am with a dental emergency and Henry was absolutely amazing… Talked to the doctor about my situation and he told me to come in. I was done and out by noon. They didn’t shut me down like 2 other dentists did due to high volume which is understandable but Okaloosa Dentistry was also super busy but had no problem seeing me ASAP!!! Thanks Henry and everyone at Okaloosa Dentsrty especially Doctor Hankewycz!!!

I have to honestly say this was the most well run Dr. Office. I was treated so nice by all involved. Dr and assistant were above the norm in kindness and instruction. I felt very little pain from the shot and extraction was pain free. Loved them!!!
