My kids and I had a great experience. My daughter said she enjoyed her cleaning for the first time ever because they made it fun. I personally have very sensitive teeth and my technician took note and was very careful during the cleaning. It was the first time I walked away from a cleaning without pain. Highly recommend!

Professional and clean dentist. However I waited 4m for my visit, they never told me it would be 90 minutes and after waiting 20 minutes after the cleaning for the doctor, I gave up and left. He was too behind- never saw me and refused to call me with any cavity or lack there of results. They probably shouldn’t be taking new patients as there is only one dentist. the temp assistant was sweet but I would give it a pretty fair review

What an amazing place! The staff strive to educate and answer any questions. I've had a fear of the dentist since childhood but felt very comfortable during the entire visit! The building was extremely clean and were following corona virus guidelines to the T!

Even though their website/google claims that they have nitrous oxide for those of us that would rather die than be in a small room, especially those of us that have severe anxiety about medical procedures etc. —it’s not the case. The hygienist misunderstood me twice. Once when she asked about premeds, to which I thought she was referring to medicine used for the procedure, I.e. nitrous oxide, etc. After leaving me in the room for several minutes she tried to tell me that they couldn’t see me because I needed a “premed, like an antibiotic; or a note from your surgeon saying you don’t need it anymore.” I had no clue what she was talking about. So after correcting the first misunderstanding, I asked if they offered nitrous oxide for when they start scraping sharp, metal instruments in my mouth. Again, I made my appointment with them after confirming several sources that they DID offer this service. So she leaves me, again—for quite some time this time. She told me she thinks that they’re out, to which I said and I QUOTE! “That’s fine, if you don’t have it.” I was willing to try the exam no matter what. But she still insisted on “double checking”. After quite some time she comes back and basically told me that the doctor wanted to refer me somewhere else. After all that?! I’m cancelling my three children’s appointment, as I don’t want to waste my time again.

Everything was good. Except, for the way dentist/hygienist manage their time and the patient’s time. If the patient is on time, they shouldn’t be made to wait 20-30 minutes past their appointment time. If the patient was 20-30 minutes late, they would be made to reschedule.
Other than that, things were good.

Awesome experience and I have always loathed going to the dentist!! Everyone in the office was very nice and cheerful and seemed to love their job. They worked miracles to get me an appointment quickly. Dentist was knowledgeable and kind and he was patient with me while I asked questions and expressed my concerns. I look forward to my entire family coming here(very young children included) and would recommend Okaloosa Family Dental to everyone. Best Dental office in Niceville!!
