I have been going to Dr. Frandsen for a number of years now. He’s someone I trust whole heartedly. For the last few months, I have been experiencing headaches almost daily. I haven’t slept through the night. I’ve been having extreme sensitivity in my face, to the point I couldn’t put makeup on because it would hurt so badly or when I’d cry, the tears on my cheek would just send pain shooting through my face. I had mentioned all of this to him and he asked if I’d ever considered trigger point injections. It was something he’d recently been trained in. At this point, I had tried what felt like everything so I thought, why not? I decided to give it a try. He did a trigger point injection to treat myofascial pain. Since these injections, for the first time in months, I have slept through the night. My headache pain is gone. The pain throughout my face has diminished. The results are supposed to last for awhile and each day that I am pain free, I am so grateful for a dentist that is continually learning new techniques to help his patients. It shows how much he cares about continual learning, latest techniques, and us as patients. Thanks Dr. Frandsen!
