Simply stated: my first visit will be my last.
PROS:
- Office staff and my dental hygienist were awesome.
CONS:
- Dentist misdiagnosed multiple teeth as needing fillings (more below)
- Dentist was rushed
- Dentist missed things that the hygienist had to point out
- Seemed as if they were just trying to make money off procedures and not actually worried about my dental health.
MORE EXPLANATIONS:
I've had less than 6 fillings in my entire life and I'm 33 years old. My Gentle Dental dentist who very quickly reviewed my mouth and x-rays recommended 4 additional fillings. This seemed very weird because my regular dentist (which I could not get into) stated that my teeth looked amazing just 6 months prior in my previous cleaning. This seemed incorrect so I sought out 2 other dentists second opinions and both dentists stated that my teeth were in great condition minus one filling had chipped and was in need of repair. I did not provide them any information about the previous dentist examinations as I wanted each examination to be objective.
Additionally, I inquired about whitening a front tooth that was damaged as a child. The gentle dental care dentist stated the only option was to place a crown on it (which is the most expensive procedure I came to learn). When I went to the other 2 dentist I asked what options I had and they stated I could internally bleach the tooth (cheaper and less invasive). So I guess that's more proof that the dentist was merely looking to bolster profit margins.
This leads me to 2 possible conclusions. Either the dentist was so hurried that he misdiagnosed multiple teeth or he simply was lying to profit from something that most people wouldn't have the means to double check. Either conclusion is unacceptable and possibly unethical. Regardless I will not be back.

Called them on a morning where I needed to get in and out. I was seen incredibly fast without an appointment. The entire staff was friendly. The care was great, I never felt an ounce of pain getting my filling replaced. Over all very impressed with the care.

Insurance Fraud!!! We were suspicious after they told us our daughter needed 10 fillings after they had filled 7-6 months earlier. Apparently, dentists working there must meet a quota and they were using our daughter to meet it. I went to another dentist to review her records. Gentle dental refused to send the xrays and the new dentist took xrays (without insurance payment). He said the potential cavities-and cavities previously filled - were so new they they could be prevented with good preventative care. Stay away from Gentle Dental if you want an honest dentist.

The dental work, and dentist I saw, was great.
However, they waited until most of my work was done to let me know I did not have the discount promised when I agreed to the work.
The owner was unwilling to stand behind the word of his staff, and would not honor the agreement. I will not go back

I had nothing but good experience at Gentle Dental. The staff are very friendly, professional and caring. They will go above and beyond for their patients, and for anyone who has fears going to the Dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Fry he is awesome!

Dr. Scott and all the staff are great. I'm going through some major dental issues' and they have been great about talking e through everything The office staff are the nicest medical office staff I have experienced. I haven't been bullied about payments. This is the first dental office that has actually help me with payment plans. They did all the information gathering for me. This is a pain free office!!!!!!!

10 years with this office and a very experienced and patient dentist who works efficiently with his hygienist. Insurance is sometimes a hassle with CareCredit but very happy with the service and I think I have the best dentist in the office.
