Amazing, friendly staff and dentists. They fixed a broken tooth within days of me calling them. Their tools and technology are top of the line and they took great care of me.

The best care I have ever had!! What a great team, they care about you as soon as you walk in the door. Had the best dental hygienist ever and Dr Sones is so kind!! The first time I was ever comfortable in a dental office!!!

So I was calling all the dental offices in the area when I reached this office they weren’t sure if they accepted the insurance and what the cost would be so they placed me on hold for the office manager. After waiting 12 min she didn’t want me to hold any longer so she said she would have her call me back. This was at 9:20am The office manager called me at 9:50 am and said yes they do take our insurance they could definitely take care of us for x price , that they do payment plans and get us in at 1pm. Got to office they baited and switched now they didn’t except the insurance. When I inquired about the office manager I spoke to she said I have no idea who you spoke to but I am the office manager and it wasn’t me. I said well who booked the appointment? She responded I’m not sure but she must work here. The visit is $115 or we are doing a new patient special for $49. I noticed they also offered $5 discount to like their fb page as well as leave a Google or Yelp review asked if I could use that as well and they said yes. Get back to there do the exam X-rays get to treatment plan and of course they don’t do payment plans are not willing to work with us. So I try to speak with the office manager again and it goes nowhere. So They gave me the discount for liking them on fb then when I said I am leaving a Google review now she says well you’re going to leave a bad review I can’t do the discount! Excuse me you sign does not say good review it just says $5 for review. She says well within reason. Well you are not being reasonable here baiting us to come in knowing you don’t take insurance payment plan or even offer services at said pricing! I am beyond furious.Considering the the fact not this office was scheduled 6 weeks out couldn’t do extraction! Then schedule 1 month out had upper respiratory and scheduled another month out and at this point is in excruciating pain and need it removed ASAP and now I’m back to square one! Thanks Sone family dental! You had so many good reviews on fb recommendation from others that I skip 2 other appointments feeling confident you would take care of it! Absolutely not the case at all!

The staff is polite and they try to be helpful. They seem to do the minimal when it comes to paperwork. I made my first appointment because I needed my teeth cleaned and a tooth filled. I made the appointment with Dr. Sones because they could use a water pick to clean my teeth. I requested it be done that way. They didn't write it down or tell anyone. I had to stop the cleaning because they started using metal. They gladly switched to the water pick. I talked about a night guard for grinding my teeth. They had me fill out the same paperwork twice that day. I was told I need to make things sound worse so insurance would approve. I thought I did. But they didn't want to help me or at least tell me what needed to be changed. They just handed me the paperwork and walked away. Then they tried to charge me $1,200 for the trays. They said Insurance will pay me back. When I started asking basic questions they tried to talk around them. Turns out it could take 6 months to get the refund if I get it at all. I told them to send the paperwork in and I will wait for the insurance to approve it. It's been over six month now and I have called my insurance several times and everytime they said they haven't received anything. When I call Dr. Sones they tell me they have sent it. I would have to request they re send it. On Several occasions I ask them to call my insurance. I have even told them to call my insurance. Nothing is getting done . Today I had to call my insurance and have them put my on 3way with Dr. Sones office. Turns out they where sending the paperwork to the wrong department. If they would have called just once like I asked them this would have been taken care of right away and my jaw wouldn't be hurting this bad today.
Dr. Sones does a good job. So I will not give up on him yet. I will just have to look a lot closer at paperwork and when it comes to the insurance. I will have to take care of it as well.

I have been bringing my family here for years and have never been disappointed! The staff makes appointments that i would usually dread more tolerable and fun

As someone who has always been fearful of the dentist, Dr. Sones and his staff immediately put me at ease. From the amazing front desk staff, the awesome assistants and fantastic hygienists, this office is top notch and I would recommend Sones Family Dental to anyone!!
