To start, I have dental anxiety and put off seeing a dentist for about 5 years. I finally got brave enough and booked an appointment with Smile for Life. I needed 5 fillings so we scheduled two appointments about a week apart to get them fixed. At the last appointment they put numbing cream on and left me for about 45 minutes before they came in to inject numbing medicine. Then left me for another 45 minutes before starting the fillings. By this point I wasn’t as numb anymore so they had to inject more numbing meds and again left me for 45 minutes. After I went home and the medicine wore off I was in a lot of pain, but assumed it was normal because the ones I had the week prior were still sensitive. After being in pain for a month I went to get a second opinion. This dentist said that he believes Dr. Utz drilled too close to my nerves and likely into one of the nerves. I now need at least one root canal, if not more. I think I would have been better off not going to the dentist at all.

First off super easy to make an appointment. Didn’t take long at all for me to get in. You also can do the new patient paperwork online. Coming in as a new patient thinking my first appointment would only be a consultation. Thankfully it wasn’t just that. My concern was my old fillings had some dark spots that were very embarrassing for me. They ended up fixing the two that same appointment!! I’m so thankful. I thought it was going to be a dragged out process. Was not painful at all and the doctor and the staff were so nice. I’m glad to find a place I want to come back to, that also took care of me wonderfully but at a really good pace too. I have my smile back thanks to them.

I would 100% recommend smile for life density any day of the week! I have never been to an office that is more kind or professional than here. My hygienist, Ashley, is all around the best in the area! I’ve never met a hygienist there who didn’t make me feel welcomed. They are all so sweet! Dr. English is also very kind and caring. He answered any and all questions I had. He was also very gentle during my procedure. My kids go here as well and love it! Hands down, the best in the area!

Great experience the nurse walked my son thru an extraction of a tooth he previously had to leave from. Dr. English is an amazing Dentist and very thorough in making sure people are comfortable.
