The ENTIRE staff at Total Dental Care in Pekin is wonderful. NO ONE could have been as afraid of the dentist as me and they were so so so kind and gentle. They didn’t do anything that I didn’t feel comfortable with. When I first called to make an appointment Tracy had me laughing and feeling relaxed the entire time. She even called me back to make sure I wasn’t going to chicken out. Seriously just go there! Everyone deserves a good dental experience and I PROMISE you’ll get it from Total Dental Care!

Dental visits have always triggered my nervousness in a big way, so I was expecting nothing different on my most recent appt at TDC. The receptionist asked me how I was feeling, so I told her that I was feeling a little bit nervous. From that point forward, through my 2hr procedure, through recovery, and up to the time I left the TDC, I was literally treated like I was a member of their family! My nervousness faded away thanks to the awesome, caring and friendly employees at TDC! I give them 10 stars!

From the time I called until the time I walked out the door after my work was complete I had an amazing experience.
I called with a horrible toothache and anyone who has ever had one knows it makes you extremely crabby. Heidi listened to me closely and found me an open appointment as quickly as she could. She ended the call by telling me to hang in there and to call back if I needed anything.
When I arrived for my appointment I was welcomed by the front desk and they asked how I was feeling. I was called back to the room and the assistant not only made me feel comfortable, but she also made me laugh. Which was hard to do with my pain level! She told me to ask questions if I needed to and that she would explain the process as we went.
Dr. Dickey was amazing. I can't say enough. He was kind, attentive, and yes..hold on...gentle. Yes dentist's can be gentle.
Nobody can ever say going to a dentist is a pleasurable experience. But to walk in on in so much pain and to leave free of pain was amazing. And to be treated so well along the way was a really great experience. Pekin Total Dental Care was a great experience! Kudos to the amazing staff and doctors!
