I live in the Iowa City area that contains a zillion dental offices and I drive 60 miles one-way to have Main Family Dental Care do my dental work. Am I crazy? I don't think so! I enjoy the friendly atmosphere, the professional manner in which the procedures are done, the helpful explanations of the procedures, and the nearly painless manner which they are accomplished. The cookies and snacks top off the whole pleasant experience. The only painful part is the gas money, but it is well worth it!

Compared to other dental offices, Main Family Dental Care give the best dental care with Doctors, hygienists, and other staff whom are very warm and friendly. I have two young kids, everyone in the office treat the with the same warmth, friendliness, care and respect I get during all my visits. We have never had a bad experience!

Consistently thorough and thoughtful treatment from a staff that is very accommodating. I am always made aware of treatment options available when faced with a dental procedure beyond regular cleanings, and because I have no dental insurance, interest-free payment plans have been offered. I originally chose this business because it's within walking distance of my house, but I can't imagine having made a better choice.

Dr.Griebahn has a new app called the friendly dentist for children to watch before there appointment, so they have a fun and better way of understanding of what will go on at the appointment. Dr.Dague and the staff are very personable. We care about our patients and want them to have the best experience possible. We are a family atmosphere and would love to add more patients to our family.

I went in with a severe infection, major swelling and lots of general discomfort. I was promptly seen, and a plan for treatment was discussed and implemented. Dr Griebahn and the staff are pleasant and friendly. Everything that was/is being done was explained thoroughly and I left feeling comfortable with the process. I would highly recommend Main Family Dental Care.

I have been going to this place for 12 plus years. They've always take my insurance, great about appointment reminders too! Professional, knowledgeable, friendly staff, gentle on the adults (haha), always happy to see you, clean & sanitary and it's cool they have a seperate computer screen by the chair so when they are looking at the chart on the computer can see the X-rays or when they have taken pictures of your teeth & gums you can actually view what they are looking at & get a visual of issues and see exactly what's going on (they had this when I first started going here). I like the tvs in the rooms as it takes your mind off the teeth. I initially came hear because I couldn't find anyone that would take my insurance at the time and they have been so great I don't want to leave them! In addition appointments are right on everytime no long waiting and consistent with the time of procedures being done which can be important no long waiting times in waiting room.
