Dentist made my disabled/ special needs son feel so at ease, very kind and friendly. She was best dentist he ever had. She talked to him but knew what to discuss with me and what to discuss with both of us. Would recommend to anyone. In my son's words- "she was awesome! "

No idea how their teeth cleaning services are but the customer service skills for the lady answering the phone and scheduling apts is terrible. 0/10 do not recommend.

The College of Dentistry is a prestigious institution that forms part of the University Hospitals. It provides dental health services to thousands of Iowans every year. They go at their own pace and you have to plan ahead of time to ser a doctor. I prefer a family dentistry plan

I've been a patient at The University of Iowa Dental Clinics for over 25 years. I started going there for care because we didn't have dental insurance at the time and their rates were very affordable. A few years later, after our insurance included dental care, I continued as a patient because the care is so good. When you leave, their work is perfect. Each appointment takes longer than a conventional dentist, but the time invested is well worth it. The student dentists have always been warm and friendly and it's clear that they all have great regard for their instructors. The instructors double and triple check the students' work and offer tips and help guide patients with suggestions for future dental care. All of the instructors that have been involved with my care are just as warm and friendly as their students. I cannot recommend the U of I Dental Clinics enough!

I never had braces as kid, but as an adult, the orthodontists at the College of Dentistry corrected my bite, straightened my teeth, and fixed a large gap between my front two teeth with Invisalign. I’m really grateful for their work, and I’ve decided that my own children will receive their orthodontics care at the College of Dentistry. If you are looking for excellent and affordable care, this is the place to go!

I had a friend recommend the School of Dentistry to me. I recommend this place highly. The students are learning as they help you with issues you have with your teeth. I have enjoyed meeting many of the students and care they take to explain things to you. Give them call and see if they can help you today.

The clinic was very clean and all the workers are very friendly and on time. Assistant Beth very thoroughly made the x-rays and told me what was going on. The environment was very warm. Dr. Hernandez is super friendly and explained the details of the treatment and recommendations. I will definitely go back for my 6 month cleaning/checkup and other treatments.

This is my son's web site and I am using it because I do not have one. My experience with the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics was exceptional. I am an individual that has had a fear of dentists and my threshold of pain is pretty low. The student that took care of me and the faculty staff member that oversaw him were very carrying, patient and professional. They constantly kept me informed of what procedures they were going to do and explained the options that they could do for future treatment. At all times I felt the decision was in my hands and there was no pressure to decide one way or the other. When I selected the option I wanted they explained the cost factor for each procedure and I was extremely pleased with those figures. I would highly recommend the school and I do not believe any dentist currently practicing could be any better than the one that treated me. In fact I would encourage the college of dentistry to delay his graduation until all treatments I need are completed. I doubt if they will. I would encourage anyone needing dental services to consider the school for treatment. Alvin H Haas
