I was originally supposed to go to Wichita Family Dental then I found out they wanted a $250 x-ray done. So at the last minute with pain shooting up my face I had to find somewhere else to go.
I needed a extraction for a fully erupted wisdom tooth. Little did I know that would be complicated enough without the short notice.
This place got me in quickly. Once there the dental tech was a beautiful lady named Angel. She was very gentle and respectful. She knew right off what needed to be done and lost no time getting everything ready for the dentist.
The dentist was AMAZING! Wow did he know what he was doing. This tooth had me taking 20 ibuprofens a day. So I was in a lot of pain. I didn’t feel anything when he took my tooth out. Angel had to tell me it was all done. Omg that was the best dental experience ever in my life! And their x-rays are $40.🤣

Best dentist out there!!! They help me threw my anxiety, and are always caring and calm!!! Everyone knows your name when you are all threw the door. Makes every visit easy. Highly recommend!!

Loved all the staff although at the beginning there was a misunderstanding on being informed of certain things the staff overall was amazing the dentist called me on the next day himself to follow up on how I was doing I mean who does that? That was really cool and neat I will take dentist Nordhus as my family dentist for sure loved the lady who was the dentist assistant Angela and the lady who did my insurance paper work can’t remeber her name feel really bad because we talked laughed and joked around anyhow I loved this place

Be prepared to spend your life savings. I had 4 gaps bonded,cost was over 3 grand, I went in with white teeth and came out with gray teeth.the bonding color was way wrong (gray) I assumed at first glance it was really gray,but was in so much pain, I assumed on the next visit they would finish them to pretty..on my next visit, I asked about the gray and I was told it looked good., I got in the car and realized that,it was the resin,went back in and was told it matches their pictures, that are magnified 200.00, they can acted like they couldn't see it..his assistant told me that they could probably go over it making my stand out a bit, I said,that would be fine,better than gray teeth!but then the doc came in and said we would have to redo it,and of course he meant I would have to pay for his mistake,again.didnt even offer anything! The procedure took just under two hours,my neck and shoulders are unaligned, I have to go to the doctor,it's not getting any better and it's been almost a month... I have heard I can call the state board, I guess that's my next step.they never explained the process,and never did a sample so i could see what it would look like.just put a pins drop on,and then stated how it matched my skin tone,and when I disagreed,she said she couldn't go whiter or my smile would stand out,witch is what I wanted!!!! Awesome business and very people friendly. We moved away from the West side of Wichita and went to a competitor closer and more convenient to our new location. That is when we realized how spoiled we really were with Dr. Nordhus. Needless to say, we are very thankfully back with Dr. Nordhus.

So this was my first visit but I am BEYOND happy. I have very high anxiety so I panic at dentist. But they talked me through everything and were so so nice. I honestly can’t thank them enough for all they are doing for me
