Thank you for being open, thank you for an extremely clean and sanitary office and most of all for being able to see me as a walk in patient, on an emergency basis. Dr Parikh is thorough and efficient, gave me multiple treatment options and they're always welcoming when I go in.

Dr. Parikh is a very kind, empathic and knowledgeable doctor. He is awesome in his field and can look beyond the disease. I'm glad that we went to his clinic to save my dying tooth - which he did. The staff is courteous and helpful with scheduling of appointments done at the earliest.

Dr. Parikh has been amazing. He has explained me my treatment very well but he has also shown he cares about his patients. I am very happy!

I came to this practice to deal with persistent TMJ pain. I found Doctor Parikh to be knowledgeable and helpful; half a year later and my problems are (basically) resolved, despite limitations on my treatment options due to another medical condition.
I did have to pay out of pocket for an oral appliance, but the office was very clear beforehand that even though my insurance told me they would cover it, that they likely would not actually do so.

Very friendly staff!! I’m so happy with the outcome of everyone’s hard work there, I can’t thank them enough. My teeth are perfectly straight thanks to them :)

The Rockville Family Dental staff are extremely caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Parikh identified my daughter's enlarged tonsils, and recommended they be removed to increase her academic performance and oxygen levels. After adhering to his recommendations, I had a sleep study done and subsequently, a tonsilechtomy performed. She is now performing better academically, and maintains high self-esteem.

If I could give this zero stars I would. I feel like my mouth was assaulted the moment that I sat in that chair. Before even talking to the dentist, I was ushered into the X-ray machine. I was abruptly told how horrible my wisdom teeth were before any pleasantries. I still don't even know the dentist's name. Once sitting in the chair, the dentist remarked that I just need braces. Didn't ask why I was at the dentist, But went on to tell me that they sent estimates to my insurance company about extraction. The dentist then used a sharp instrument to go around my gums without any warning besides "just open up" And proceeded to poke and prod. I let him know that it hurt, but it didn't stop and he slipped and scratched my gum. He said the slip was because it was a more difficult area and told me that I shouldn't worry if I see a lot of blood when I spit. He then used the electric scrubbing tooth brush or whatever it's called to polish maybe 5 teeth. He left the tool too close to my lip and I felt like it was burning. Unfortunately I got an emergency phone call in the apt so I had to take it, but the dentist said it was OK because he was finished anyway. The dentist told me that I needed a few things done, but he couldn't do anything until I got the wisdom teeth out- Not explaining anything else that he was doing or had plans to do but that I should talk to the person up front. I had already let the dentist and his assistant know that I was incredibly anxious about going to the dentist and that I'd had a really bad experience.

I left the office confused, angry, extremely upset, in tears, and my mouth was in pain... which it had NOT been before the visit. The receptionist was rude and unapproachable, and as I was walking out, they were already bringing another patient in to sit in the seat that I just exited. There was no turn over period and I'm unsure of the sanitary procedures they do to keep patients safe. Towards the end I was so disgusted and upset, I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

The office looked outdated, and felt sketchy upon arrival. I should have listened to my gut.

10/10 would recommend this business be shut down.

Rockville Family Dental is absolutely great! My family and I have been with Dr. Chetan Parikh for over a decade. The customer service provided by Dr. Parikh and his staff is phenomenal. My family members and I have accumulated a total of at least 12 procedures with Dr. Parikh. We were handled with gentle care and most of all, WE HAD NO PAIN AFTER OUR PROCEDURES HAD TAKEN PLACE! Prior to Dr. Parikh my family and I had been to many dentists, we have really found a home here with Rockville Family Dental. I would like to recommend Dr. Parikh to anyone looking for a new dentists.

My wife went to Dr Parikh for a routine exam for the first time due to change in insurance plans. She had no symptoms. At the end of the routine exam, she was told she had 6 cavities that needed filling. As a physician, I called Dr. Parikh to explain how did he diagnose 6 cavities. He said he used a new technology based on laser that detects early cavities. I asked him what literarature was this based on and he referenced the author of an article but could not provide me details of this article. Most important, he did not know how many patients was this study based on nor did he know how the recommendations guidelines were derived. He promised to send me the article but 6 months later, he still has not sent me that article. Speaking to other dentists, this is not a proven technology and many do not use method. The recommendations by the manufacturer of this technology results in over diagnosis. The ADA does not explicity endorse this technology. I believe this is yet another example of aggressive unnecessary treatment. Dentists should not fall victims to the aggressive marketing by manufacturer of such technology even if it generates income for them unless they are satisfied this is based on sound science and explained to the patient. My wife has since seen another dentist and does not need any fillings in those 6 teeth. So patients BE AWARE!

Dr. Parikh and staff makes you comfortable during every visit. He would answer all questions very patiently.
