I've been going to City Place Dental since 1995 and the reason I've remained so loyal is due to the professionalism of the ENTIRE staff. Everyone is really nice especially Roxanne who has been there since I started going. Kingsley Achikeh is the best!! He's so sweet, funny, caring and he takes the time to get to know you personally. I mean, after 25 years he knows me and my family pretty well. I've raved about this dental office so much that I have family, friends and coworkers going there. They all say the same thing, they love it just as much as I do. The office is beautiful, clean, metro accessible and there's plenty of metered street parking. I live about 45 minutes away but it's definitely worth the drive.

It's been a mixed bag for me with City Place Dental. I went here first because I needed to get a custom made sleep appliance for snoring. I was happy because Dr. Achikeh agreed to do it without an order from a sleep specialist. However, when I went back to get the appliance, it turns out he had ordered the wrong one. The doctor was very reasonable and did not charge me for the wrong device, and then ordered me the correct one. I then got my cleaning done a few weeks ago. Last night my wife noticed some stains on my teeth that I had not noticed, so I called the office to let them know I was unhappy with the cleaning, as they did not remove these stains. I was told by the receptionist that I would have to pay out of pocket to have another cleaning, which seems entirely unreasonable as the cleaning was only done a few weeks ago. So, in short, be ready to deal with a somewhat unorganized office, things being done incorrectly and delayed, and service that ranges from very good to very poor. I really wanted to give a 5 star review, but the fact that I am being told I have to pay for the poor job they did cleaning my teeth really rubs me the wrong way.

The dentist seem genuinely concerned about my oral hygiene and were quick to prescribe me dental tooth paste and a mouth guard as compared to my previous dental which have failed to confront me with any oral issues. In addition, the staff are very kind and welcoming. I wish I came to this place sooner!

I have lost all fillings and all their interventions have got me into complications later in less than 3 years after they performed them. Unfortunately, I now live overseas otherwise I would pay them a visit again.
AS PER THEIR REPLY: I have NEVER needed or asked for any orthodontic (braces) eligibility. I have been performed the same filling twice, since first wasn't even properly finished in the first session. I was assisted by Dr. Achikeh. So please, double check your records!!
