A Plus Dentistry

I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Irina Spivak at A Plus Dentistry for dental care and I must say, I was exceptionally impressed. She is a wonderful dentist who clearly takes pride in her work. The office is clean and modern, and staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Spivak was extremely thorough and explained every procedure in detail. She is also gentle, patient and very comforting. My visit was one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Irina Spivak for your dental needs.

Never knew that dental care could be as good as this. My very first visit to A Plus Dentistry in Brookline on Washington St was for an emergency root canal procedure. Dr. Sam, Ana and Lilijana, were compassionate and thorough in dealing with my unique case, which was caused by a filling that was done elsewhere. Dr. Sam was pleasant and caring, he carefully explained and showed me what needed to be done and at proper times, would ask if there were questions for him. I was also completely satisfied with all of the follow-up visits, including the dental crown and cleaning procedures. Ana and Lilijana were outstanding and friendly, who made sure that I was comfortable throughout all of the procedures. Occasionally, Dr. Sam, Ana and Lilijana would ask how I was doing during the procedures, and truthfully, this was something that I had not experienced elsewhere. Personally, this simple gesture and their body language meant that they were compassionate towards their patients. My exceptional experience would be incomplete if I did not mention Monika, who was awesome and amiable in helping me with booking the follow-up appointments. A Plus Dentistry is a conscientious and reliable dental clinic that I would recommend wholeheartedly to everyone.

I do not recommend this practice.

First, the dentist I saw brought up filling a small chip in one of my teeth several times after I said I was not interested in refilling it.

Second, the x-rays taken here were so blurry the dentist I saw for a second opinion could not determine what was a cavity and what was healthy.

Third, I was told I had 6 cavities. Second and third opinions concluded I had 0 cavities.

Fourth, billing. I purchased fluoride toothpaste and received a fluoride treatment. After receiving my EOB, I was told I owed 3 separate amounts, each more than the last. It was incredibly difficult to speak to someone about it and when I did, there was no clear explanation as to why they couldn’t just resubmit to insurance. Confirmed with my insurance representative that I should not have owed any money. I paid the bill to be done with the practice for good.

I always have top notch service in a caring environment. From being greeted with a smile at the front desk to a warm comfortable attitude from the Dr and assistant while in the chair. Any work needed to be done is always explained fully and clearly and I have never felt pressured into anything. It is a wonderful practice that will continue to receive my patronage.

Wow, what a fantastic experience at A+ today.

I thought I was going there just to get my bad tooth looked at but instead the lovely ladies here had the time and expertise to remove it.

5 minutes later I was good to go. I would highly recommend this Brookline dentist to anyone. They were extremely nice and very professional.

The waiting area is very comfortable, receptionist is extremely nice & dentist office is quite clean.

I look forward to my next visit.

I am happy to write a review for “A Plus Dentistry”. From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted by excellent administrative assistants who make you feel welcome and comfortable. The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. They bring dental care to a whole new level. Dr. Lender is excellent dentist who take the time to explain each procedure in terms a lay person like myself can understand. He did a fantastic job fixing my two front teeth and making my smile look great.
I tried other dentists and no one can beat the professionalism and skill of Dr. Lender. They always have the latest in technology and keep up with all new procedures in the field. They set the tone for their office and the staff they hire exhibits the same professionalism and caring. I am so lucky to be their patient. I would highly recommend this office for any work needed on your teeth!

A big thanks to Yelp for hooking me up with this wonderful dentist! From my first call, everyone I've dealt with at this office has been so incredibly sweet. I came in on a Wednesday for a 2:30 appointment and was the only one waiting because Dr. Lender and his assistant were still working on someone.
First, I dealt with Liliana, the dental assistant. She took some x-rays and was super considerate while shoving those annoyingly sharp paper things in my mouth. I liked that she explained everything she was doing.
Soon after, I met Dr. Lender, who was warm and friendly from the get-go. He asked me a lot of questions about my history, lifestyle and habits, and was eager to answer all of my questions in real terms. He told me what to pay attention to, and what to work on, while telling me what looked good and didn't need any work.
Unlike other snobby dentists that yell at you for not flossing, Dr. Lender and staff simply educate and encourage you just to take great care of yourself. So refreshing!!
Trust me- you need to come see Dr. Lender!!

We were on vacation in Boston, and my husband woke up with sharp tooth pain.

Our relative, who lives in Boston, recommended Dr. Lender to us.

A Plus Dentistry office impressed us from the beginning with their cleanness, modern equipment, and friendliness of their staff.

Dr. Lender immediately found the problem with my husband’s tooth, fixed it almost painlessly, and we were quickly able to continue with our vacation.

The practice was professional and organized. All care given was thoroughly explained and was very comfortable! Would definitely recommend Dr. Martirosyan!
