had a fantastic experience at fresh pond dental. They fit me into the schedule for my cleaning right away, accepted my insurance (delta), and provided friendly service. Dr Sharma was very gentle yet thorough with her cleaning and put together a thoughtful treatment plan for me. I also got a whitening treatment that came out very nicely. This dental office told me a procedure would be fully covered by my "excellent insurance" and then charged me nearly $1200 minutes after it was over. Their office manager did this in front of a full waiting room of people as I was walking out of the procedure. He was hostile to me then and over the phone later when I asked for clarity around the charge. The dentists I saw were great, but this experience still sits with me as both humiliating and frustrating. I have anxiety around going to the dentist, and this has made it so much worse. It was nearly five years ago.

I love Dr. Sharma, along with everyone else at Fresh Pond. She is thorough, considerate, and highly effective. Her advice and recommendations on everything from tooth brushes to dental floss has been spot on, and I haven’t had a new cavity since seeing her (that’s over a year!).

Plus, Fresh Pond will get you in quickly if you have some sort of urgent problem and they are always on time!

It’s so bittersweet that Fresh Pond Dental will not be excepting masshealth because for the first time in over 20 years I finally found a dentist and staff that are so welcoming. The extent that Dr.O and his staff go to make sure that I am comfortable is something that is very rare in my experience with Dentist.

I've been a patient at Fresh Pond Dental for years now. Today I had an appt to fix a cavity that was filled here previously. (This is not my 1st time having to do this). Although the Dentist & care staff have always been courteous to me, especially under circumstances of having to re-address previously treated issues, the front desk staff has consistently been an issue. (Even throughout the multiple changing of hands of ownership/management). I scheduled this appt last month, and received a text as I have in the past from their SMS service confirming my appt today. I replied and confirmed. However upon my arrival today I was told they chose to give my appt away to someone else claiming I did not confirm my appt. I showed them my confirmation text from them. I was told they was "not their number". I then showed them that not only was it their number, but I have used this same number to confirm my previous appts with them in the past. They said , well we left you voicmails. I informed them that I'm not always able to talk on the phone during their daytime business hours and text works best, as it has in the past as I showed them. They said there was nothing they could do about it and my appt was given to someone else. (Who was not even there according to them either.)I then suggested I be given my appt as scheduled, especially if the other person they double booked was not there. (This is ALSO not the 1st time they've double booked appts. As one of my previous visits this year was double booked...even though I was able to confirm over the phone that time...yet they Still gave it to the person they double booked for my appt and made me reschedule again.) I asked for the manager, and was told the manager is gone. I asked for their names, but was given a card for the "practice manager", although the phone number was simply the main desk number these same 2 people control. This is not the first time this has happened to me, and it's starting to verge on deliberate. They informed me on my last visit they are no longer accepting patients with my Insurance, and those they do have currently, they will choose to only schedule 2 days a week. [Hence why my appt to re-do (again) a cavity previously fixed here, the earliest they could schedule me was a month out.] And for someone with now progressing tooth sensitivity/pain/discomfort, a Month can feel like an eternity. The 2nd receptionist who denied the phone # was theirs, & claimed she texted me personally (verbatim the message I received & replied to after she read it aloud) not only still denied responsibility after I physically showed her the message she sent WAS the one I in fact replied to, she again blamed me because I made the appt a Month Ago, and they can't trust patients will even show to a an appt scheduled a month prior.(Even though those with my particular insurance have no other options but make appts that far in advance now.) Again this is NOT the 1st time I've been double booked (this is not even the 1st time I've had to have previous work re-done). To be treated this way is not only unnecessary but entirely unprofessional and unacceptable. Be Aware, please! If you are in need, even IF you are a longstanding patient, even if you made an apt a month in advance, even if you confirmed that appt via their supplied means to do so, apparently unless you have an insurance carrier that pays them well, they will treat you like this. This is not proper patient care, period!

Went for a routine cleanup appointment as a new patient. Got appointment for the very next week since I did inquiry. All the covid precautions were very well taken care of. It took around an hour for the whole appointment. Assistant staff was very friendly along with the dentist herself. Would definitely recommend if living in Cambridge area.

I have been going to Fresh Pond Dental for a few years now and I couldn't be happier with the service!! Dr Sharma and team are amazing!! They are so helpful and understanding.
