My experience at Gentle Dental is always a good one .The staff and dentists are friendly, and put you right at ease. The dentists are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain and answer any questions you have. I feel very comfortable and at ease with the dentists there. I recommend Gentle Dental at Twin City. Thanks Dr.Klimashov and Dr He for my new smile!😀

Do NOT go here! I went here for years and thought everyone was amazing. Until last year when I had one of the newer dentists recommend a root canal on what turned out to be the wrong tooth, which I learned through a second opinion (so glad I got one)! Fast forward to my current dentist at a different practice, who asked where I had my past work done and if I had it done outside of the country. When I asked why she would think that, she mentioned that a filling and my root canals were 'very' poorly done. She explained that 2 of my root canals were not fully treated and they missed entire roots. This reminded me of a time when I had gone to Gentle Dental and saw a specialist who asked me the same question and he seemed surprised and shook his head when I said it had been with them. At the time I hadn't put two and two together, but now I know that his reaction was the same as my current dentist's. I also have a family member who was over charged and went back and forth with billing for months. I do NOT recommend this location!

My wife and I used to love Gentle Dental and they used to be convenient and flexible with timings and charge fairly. We have been going here for 5 years until a management / admin change. I have decent health insurance and have been trying to resolve a bom for the last 6 months but to no avail specially with the new management coming in. The amount itself has changed in last 1 month from $499 balance to $350 to back to $400 and all I’ve been doing here is preventative dental cleaning which I was told was all covered under health insurance. If this is the service of new management here and non consistency with pricing then my family will be moving out of Gentle Dental shortly. Beware with change in rates and pricing. I certainly hope they resolve it seeing this but only time will tell..

Had a very nice periodontist appointment here. Was seen right away, and Dr. Hoffman and Victoria were professional and clear in their recommendations. Above and beyond was Carmen, who was extremely attentive when I called for an appointment the other day, fit me in immediately, and then somehow - despite the hundreds of people I'm sure she has spoken to since - remembered my name. She was beyond warm, and really made my day. Thank you to all!

Erica Cova is the most amazing Hygienist I have ever had clean my teeth.

Absolutely pain free with excellent results.

I will only go to her for cleanings in the future.

Overall good experience here but there are a couple points for improvement. I had my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Kirill Klimashov so most of my feedback is regarding that appointment, but I was also evaluated by Dr. He.

The good: orderly and professional office. Dr. K was very communicative during the procedure and would frequently give updates on what was happening next. It went smoothly. The instructions on aftercare were clear and he prompted for questions at several points. Dr. He was very kind and clear in the evaluation.

Needs improvement: The consent form for the extraction was given after local anesthetic had been administered. This psychologically discourages backing-out, and while I doubt anyone backs out after reading the form, it would be more courteous to go over the form first. Dr. K explained it is more efficient to let the patient read the form while the anesthetic kicks in, but efficiency is not everything. It's important for me to think that the provider has my best interest in mind above all. Breezing past consent forms does not give that impression.

Secondly, during the previous evaluation, the insurance coverage was not explained well. The receptionist mentioned that the coverage for extracting different wisdom teeth might be different because they are coded differently. This was not true with my insurance, and I very highly doubt so as well for most insurances. This lead to unnecessary confusion and stress, and I had to call the insurance company about it to work out the best plan for me. Insurance coverage is complicated, and in reviewing the estimates, the receptionist could do a better job of mentioning all the factors that are likely to affect how the numbers turn out. Furthermore, the treatment plan was not assembled in a very organized fashion. I do not remember the name of this receptionist.

Lastly, Dr. K prescribed a course of antibiotics following the extraction. I see that this is somewhat common, so no complaints. However, he also suggested probiotics to go with them. This was not a rigidly given suggestion, but I think it's important to further mention that there currently lacks strong scientific evidence that oral probiotics help at all in this case. In fact it could easily swing the opposite way. I don't appreciate the impression of a Dr going along with a popular opinion (probiotics are always beneficial) that lacks scientific evidence. So the probiotic recommendation could be dropped entirely or given with more caveats, in my opinion.

Once again, an adequate experience overall but in this country, with the rates we pay for medical care, and as important conduits between the public and scientific communities, providers should be held to the highest of standards.

My hygienist Yen was wonderful, exceptionally gentle and caring.
Dr. He has been my dentist for over two years. I drive over an hour to his office because he is the BEST dentist I have had in my life, always kind, he explains everything in detail, highly professional and personable. He takes the time and performs quality work. I highly recommend him. The staff at the front desk are very friendly. I have to thank Jesse for helping me to get my appointments between the times I asked for so I could avoid traffic ;) also, a big THANK YOU to Priscila for clearing up the confusion with the insurance company and for calling back to let me know.

I usually hate going to the dentist, however, everyone at the office is so kind and so friendly. They have really gone out of their way on multiple occasions to make me feel comfortable. Also, I never have to wait for very long in the waiting room and Dr. He always takes the time to answer as many questions as I have and to explain results, test, etc. Highly recommend!
