I been coming to Somerville first Dentist for years me and my three children . Today I came in and the new Dr. Hovhannes is great he went over everything with me and told me what he thought was best and then told me what he thought was best and then he was like sleep on it and let me know. I am very picky with who touches my mouth. But I will be honest he is great.

Somerville first dental always has the best hygienists and although the dentists change constantly, they're all amazing at listening to your needs and making sure you're comfortable through any procedure. Now, as for the front desk, one couldn't ask for better service. Rita has been with the company for forever and is not only amazing at her job, she makes you feel like family, instantly. I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend Somerville First Dental. Especially if you're a nervous nelly when it comes to dentists. Top care, understanding and an amazing ability to make you as comfortable as possible.

From check-in to check-out, I had an outstanding experience with multiple procedures done over the course of a few weeks. They made the process quick and painless. As someone who has struggled with pretty severe dental anxiety over the years, I immediately felt at ease specifically with the help of Dr. Hovhannes and Dr. Idalma; their entire staff is extremely professional, attentive, and friendly. Highly recommend!

Somerville first dental is part of my family! They always welcome me with a smile and make me feel good about my teeth been coming here for years with my son. Would recommend. COVID-19 safe always upon arriving temperature is checked all protocol following super safe.

I am very pleased with my dental cleaning. I have been here a couple times before and every time the front is very welcoming and attentive.. Noone else present and all staff wearing masks. Rey the dental hygienist was such a sweetheart and very efficient. He made me feel very comfortable and I feel like I got a thorough cleaning. They do so much more effort wise than I was used to. The dentist Rodmanesh who has taken out my wisdom teeth successfully and pleasantly considering it's not a pleasant situation came in for the final update on my teeth and everybody was amazing. He has a tact for presenting any bad info without making you feel bad because he brings up the positives and that's a charm that is really important when dealing with customers. Especially when you have a job that people may take insult because they have to point out physical informalities /hygiene. he is very graceful about it. (a cavity for example. :-) the fact that I need is some further cleaning which I am grateful that they offer)I will continue to stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a dentist. I wasn't at a dentist for years which I was very ashamed of because I was always really good about it and when I first went in I was so relieved and happy and that I did it so I recommend everyone stay up on your dental cleaning . you will feel great and it's really important for your health and hygiene and also physical looks long-term.

Been coming here for about 5 years and have been very pleased. Staff is very friendly and I've always had a good experience. Thought they handled COVID scenario as good as they could right now. Social distant waiting area and employees wear mask and faceshield when working on you.
Rita at the front always gives me plenty of reminders and is great about working around my schedule if I need to move an appt at the last minute.
Berina is a fantastic dental hygienist, shes been cleaning my teeth for a few years. Great attitude and shes very careful and my gums thank her. I would definitely recommend her to others if they have the option!
I luckily haven't spent a ton of time with the dentists, outside them coming in at the end of each appt and reviewing with the hygienist. Some may consider this a downside, but if I don't need anything fixed I'm trying to get in and get out. 5 stars from me!

I have been a patient at this clinic for 1yr. As someone who has always been uncomfortable in a dental chair I can say this office has cured all my fears! All the staff is knowledgeable, welcoming and amazing to work with! Rita at the reception desk has been so helpful to work with and always greets you with a smile! Birina is an outstanding hygienist and I never want to see another!
