Dr.Ahmed is the best he is very understanding and makes you feel very comfortable. He is easy and very gentle. If you looking for any type of procedure go to him. Every one at the clinic is very professional and on point with covid-19 rules and regulations. Not a better place out there.

I’m a new client. (Moved here from Kentucky) I’ve only been seen for an exam and x-rays. Today I had some fillings. And the dentist was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I have anxiety so I started having a panic attack and he stopped what he was doing to make sure I was calm and I was set to go. I see him next Tuesday to get a tooth pulled. And I’m not as scared now. (: They are all great staff. Very amazed.

I very rarely write reviews for any sort of business. I wish I could give First Dental 50 stars instead of just 5 though! They are so incredible in there. The last 10 or so years, ive had a crippling fear of the dentist due to a couple of bad experiences from another dentist i will not name here. It made me never want to go back to the dentist again and just the thought of it would send me into a panic attack. I was starting to have some serious issues with my teeth and finally decided that it was time to try and get everything done. I was trying to find a dentist that accepts MassHealth, but also is good with nervous patients. Looking at reviews, i decided to give First Dental a shot. Im beyond glad that I did. I quite literally have ZERO fear anymore. Ive had to have several visits to get all the work done that I need to, my next visit is supposed to be my last. I have to admit, im genuinely a bit sad that its going to be my last for a while! It is truly like a big family in there and if it werent for COVID, i would have given them all the biggest hugs I possibly could because of how safe and secure they made me feel. Dr. Hovannes and Dr Gobbeh(im terribly sorry if im spelling these wrong) are amazing people, Rita at the front desk is an absolute sweetheart, and the dental assistants are incredibly nice as well. They take the time to walk you through whats being done and answer any questions you might have. They care about you as an individual and thats incredibly important. They are so gentle and take so much pride and care in their work. I cant recommend First Dental highly enough!! If you're nervous or scared about the dentist, go to First Dental!!!

5 stars!! I've always hated going to the dentist... Somerville First Dental is the first dentist I've willingly gone to. Their staff is excellent - front desk staff is warm, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Dental staff are wonderful and kind, and so very patient, even when I ask a million questions. They let me listen to music on my headphones and reassure me that they're totally fine with having a grown adult reduced to tears. Great place! Bonus points awarded for: Game of Thrones discussions, classic dental pun artwork and always asking me about my dog.

Amazingly fast and professional!! Went here for the first time and honestly couldn't have had a better experience. The young handsome dentist was one of the best. Between the x-rays, the assessment and cleaning it was just such a quick and painless experience.

Dr. Hovhannnes is outstanding!!! He is patient and understanding, he did an excellent job for me. I would recommend him to anyone. The entire office very professional. Amazing staff.

The staff is amazing! I've been going there for 3 years and they always have treated my like family. Rita is outgoing, caring and on top of her game. Berina is the light of the building, always smiling and making you feel comfortable. I used to fear the dentist until I came here. They changed my entire perspective on the dentist and have done great work restoring my oral health. I highly recommend their services.

This team is a godsend! Excellent dental work AND accepts Mass Health. Dentist corrected a failed crown from a different dental practice. So grateful!
