I was referred to this place by a friend who did some treatment in the past. I should have looked into the reviews here because you can see by the amount of 1 starts that the place is not good.
I booked an appointment for braces and the person o the phone gave me a date and time. When I got there they told me to sign something without even reading it. (Its a Hippy privacy thing, they said).
After that, sitting on the dentist chair, I've been told that I had to pay $75 dollars just to talk to the doctor about the possible treatments. No exams, No X-rays, nothing included.
I did braces consultations before on other dentists and never I've been asked to pay for that! Its a 5-6K dollar treatments and they are charging me for the consultation? Really?
Why they didn't told me that before the appointment was set?? That's not cool. She said she would charge it because I had no insurance. When I told her I Had insurance, she said: "We have to charge you anyways" 🤨
When I pointed that I wasn't comfortable and I should have been told about the fee before hand, the lady just mechanically said "thats not a problem" and didn't even apologized for the mistake.
Another weird thing is they insisted on speaking with me in Portuguese, not sure why, even after I told I wanted English. I think they just want to have Brazilian Customers that have a lower standard for quality there..
Terrible impression. I wont recommend this place..

They are open on Sundays! It's unbelievable I know, I didn't believe it also. They understand not everyone can do a weekday appointment and that's why they are open on Sundays and I absolutely love it. I live in Western Massachusetts and drive to their Chelsea and Somerville offices every six months. They speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese. They take good care of me, they're polite and kind. I take my whole family there, sure I could find a local dentist where I live this place is just too good to me.

The treatment is quite nice here , doctors are Nicer too. On my 2nd appointment i had not really a good experience but Dr. lang handled it very well I am really very much satisfied. I’m taking my kid there too, I would definitely recommend my peers.

I have been going to Lang's Dental Center for over 15 years. I absolutely love the care here. They are very professional and efficient. Excellent customer service. And best of all, they open on Saturdays! I definitely recommend!

I have been a patient here for several years and been pretty happy with the service but recently I had a tooth pulled and the experience was not good as it felt rushed not waiting for the medication to take affect and the dentist not really paying attention to me asking him to slow down. I was also very disappointed that after letting them know about my visit no one reached out to me to even pretend to care. Looks like I'll be finding another dentist.

My mother who is 63 went in today to get some root extracted that was left from her tooth falling out and when she went in today they didn't ask my mom any questions at all, they didn't look at her chart and they treated her as if she wasn't welcome in. So she goes in, they sit her down, my mom has the loose tooth with her as evidence so they can see and she asked if she could put the tooth on the dentist plate that is their for the patients convenience and they told her "no, you can hold it"and the assistant nurse gave her a tissue making her hold the tooth. My mother is always on the preventative side of things and before any procedure she lets the doctors know that she has hypertension and is taking her hypertension medicine and also lets the doctor know that around 30 years ago she had a tooth extracted and the common anesthesia that was given to her made her shiver and the doctor said that she had an allergic reaction to it. So my mother always mentions this to any dentist that she goes to and have all said that they know exactly what to give her so nothing goes wrong. Not this dentist! They started telling her that they couldn't proceed with the extraction due to them not knowing what to give her. They said to her that they needed to know the name of the anesthesia first to then figure out how they would help her. Mind you that at no time at all did the actual doctor ever come out to speak face to face with my mother, she would send her assistant nurses to deal with the situation. After a few minutes my mom wanted to see if she could speak with the doctor and she never came out! She sent her "best nurse" to talk with my mom and told her that the doctor was eating which is why she didn't deal with the situation. So my mom spoke with the nurse and this nurse told her that if she wanted to continue with the procedure they could give her the anesthesia given to pregnant women to avoid getting her heart rate up and my mother immediately made the decision to avoid further procedure with this place. I always wonder what kind of prevention and safety these people offer their patients as they clearly couldn't figure out what to do with my mom for an extraction!?! My mom was technically putting her life on the line with these people as they couldn't take care of her the way they were supposed to since thats what they went to school for! On top of that they made her feel on welcomed to the place as she wasn't provided with adequate service in terms of the equipment for the patients to use at their convenience such as you would use at a hospital for the time that one is their to stay! Overall this is not the place to get your tooth extractions and dental operations done unless you want to put your life on the line with them! Especially those with underlying conditions such as hypertension among other conditions. These people have no idea what they are doing. Their knowledge extends only for routine cleanings as my mother and I could clearly see! Don't waste your time here people! They are a low quality dentist.

My whole family Have had most of dental work done here over years. Things always go well. Very clean office. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, skillful doctors. Very flexible schedule. Highly recommend.
