My Community Dental Centers ~ Marquette

Everyone here is always so kind and personable, which puts me at ease with the extreme anxiety I experience surrounding dental care. Glad I chose this dentist. Alicia does an amazing job every time and seems to really know me and my anxiety, which also helps greatly.

Very friendly staff! Unfortunately the female dentist is very rough and I've never gone through as much pain as I did when I went there. I think it's a great place to go, I just wish I could stick with the same dentist I had the first time. You never know what dentist you will get until you are there in the chair. I hope you don't get the rough dentist!

Everyone was very friendly and constantly wiping down and sanitizing surfaces. My wait time was 5 minutes before being called back. Cleaning was quick and painless. I highly recommend this place for quality, friendly and clean service.

I left VERY disappointed.... And it was the worse, quickest cleaning Ive had over the past 40 years! They didn't even have floss to clean under my permanent bridge.
I couldn't completely understand what the Dentist was saying. I asked the Xray assistant if she could explain what he said and she didn't know either! She said," yeah he mumbles'!
I don't trust his judgement in light of my long term family dentist who retired.
I have a no teeth on lower left gum. Problem with removable bridge that he said didn't fit due to the physical anatomy of my tongue muscles??? Told me I," should wait as long as possible before getting dentures" and that any local Dentist could do implants!!!! If I could afford implants I wouldn't be going to MCDC! And honestly I was just there for a cleaning. Not dentures! So not looking forward to going back but have no choice as I have a cavity that's hurting and will be waiting two weeks for care!

The very first time I was there the woman dentist jabbed my bottom lip with the novacaine needle!!! And then said, "whoops" and continued to barberically jab my gums and get her proper footage to FORCEFULLY extract a molar!!!
So I do have to get a crown replaced and the dentist said it's going to be difficult to get through the material.... I reserved the nitrous oxide for that one! I am definitely calling around to other dentists for there opinions. When you have no Dental insurance and when your teeth are weak and eroding, as this dentist said, it feels like your basically screwed!

I am a retired, Medical Professional. This experience was far from Professional. Everyone was rushing and "late". The very last girl that came to polish excused herself in case I heard her stomach growl! She was attempting to run floss between a row of artificial teeth attached to a permanent bridge. So....that alone tells me that she didn't even look at the full, x-rays that were just taken!!! It's was rather scary and I certainly didn't feel like they were competent or experienced. I guess I was spoiled all these years from my previous, retired Doctor.
It took the rest of the afternoon for me to get over the disturbing feelings.

It's a real shame that low-income people, who don't have $ or insurance get below, optimal care. My Family Dentist was a blessing that I took for granted. He honestly "Catered to coward's", was gentle, calm and reassuring. I NEVER left his office feeling worse than when I went in!!!
Sorry to sound ungrateful and negative. But I'm being honest. Hopefully my criticism identifies ways in which they can improve.
Make sure you floss.....the right way!!!

I AM sooooh empressed by the care and professionalism of My Community Dental Center. the technician was very skilled and helpful, explaining to me and putting me at ease. the Doctor was careful to explain everything that was going on. I know the Doctor's time is very valuable, yet he made the time to explain to me everything that was going on. He even took time to answer all my questions without putting me down or talking down to me. I get GREAT help and service from My Community Dental Center!!!

I went in for a root canal expecting the worst. The dental staff made sure that I knew what to expect, and were very friendly, making me laugh throughout the appointment. They knew what they were doing, and I was in and out quickly.

Kids are not easy patients. Dr. Ladd sang while she did procedures on my kiddo... unbelievable the multi tasking Miranda and Dr Allison displayed. Definitely recommend! Over and above is how they do their Jobs...

They are amazing very polite willing to work around your schedule especially if you have to drive almost 2 hours away 😍

Of all the dentist I’ve seen in my life this dentist by far was the best. I was in upper Michigan on a business trip I was not planning on seeing a dentist but I had a terrible tooth ache it was getting to the point I could not chew anything because of the pain, I called and was able to get an appointment the next day. When I arrived they gave me some paperwork to fill out, they placed me in the dental chair before I finished the paperwork I could not believe how fast they were, as soon as I finish the paperwork she was ready to start pulling my tooth again I was very impressed with how fast they were I also had some other underlying health issues that was causing a problem she took the time she took the time to explain to me the procedure and everything that was going on she was extremely nice and patient she told me that she was going to try to pull my tooth without doing surgery but it was a possibility that they would have to surgically remove the tooth she tried her best to pull the tooth without doing surgery to keep the cost down because I didn’t have insurance and was paying out of pocket but my past experience with having my tooth pulled because I have very hard bone I knew that she was going to have to remove the tooth surgically she did everything she could do to help me. She ended up removing the tooth surgically during the whole experience I felt almost no pain, her assistant was great also. The entire staff that I dealt with was excellent they were very patient very caring and very understanding I didn’t know that they had dentist office like that, people that actually cared more about the patient then the money. I definitely recommend this dentist!

I really appreciate the staff at the clinic. They got me in on an emergency basis. Because I was having tooth pain. Everybody was friendly and helpful. I couldn't ask for better care. Thank You.
