Grove Dentist

I went there to start the process of getting dentures. I'm on oxygen due to a separate lung injury. The first visit they took x-rays and gave me antibiotics and a form for my doctor to fill out about limitations due to my lung injury and sent me home. There were no limitations. The second visit the doctor looked at my mouth and sent me home with more antibiotics and a referral for a dental surgeon to remove some of my molars due to the bulbousness of the roots. After I went to the oral surgeon I made another appointment to continue the process and five minutes later they call me back to tell me the dentist doesn't want to see me again. Thanks for nothing Dr Alb. Good luck to anyone who decides to give this place a chance.

Just have my third wisdom tooth removed , Dr Alb is the most humorous best professional dentist I have even seen, it took less than 1 min to remove the tooth and process is fast no pain awesome. People working there are soooooo nice. I will definitely come again for the last wisdom tooth removal ! Thank you all!

It was horrible of Grove Dentist I have ever experience, as specially the customer service in finance, He Name is Lyn and Dr. Sandu Florin Alb you guys doing some things dishonest. Dr Sandu Florin Alb you are such a looser I have ever seen, you are race, who force you to take state Insurance??? you and your team dishonest to customer and state insurance , I wish state Insurance audit your business. you are not deserve one star review period

Called to make an appointment for my significant other and 1st thing I was asked is "and he can't make this for himself why"

My one tooth hurts everyday nonstop. He ground down to the nerve root before filling. Fillings are rough and sharp.

Edit: 2019-12-09. I changed my review from a 1 star to a 4 star. Grove dentist contacted me and left a very detailed explanation for everything below. I appreciated the clarifications and the fact that they never once asked me to change my review. It sounds like they changed some of their staffing issues and problems like this in the future should be fixed.

I went here for a standard cleaning because it is 100% covered under my dental insurance. I left and thought it was very friendly service and not much to complain about.

Turns out, they charged me $30 for 'Oral Hygiene Counseling', which consisted of the dentist telling me to be more precise with brushing.
I also was asked if i wanted fluoride and figured it was covered under the preventative insurance ,since they didn't clarify that it wouldn't be. They charged me $39 for that which isn't even needed for people my age!

I called them to discuss these charges and was told the only billing individual only works on Wednesday and doesn't have an email or phone number I can call. WHAT?!

Absolutely unreal and i will not be going back ever again.

I recently got my wisdom teeth taken out and it wasn’t the best experience. First off they didn’t even put me to sleep, just gave me novicane (and I could feel the procedure) and I have never heard of that before for wisdom teeth extraction. Next is once you leave the office they give you further instruction for care, it says on it and they told me to only ice it the first day which makes no sense whatsoever. I looked up on multiple websites and I even talked to some nurses who said to ice it until there is no more swelling. At first I followed the dentists instructions which made the healing process go a lot slower but then did what I knew was best for my mouth; icing it. I don’t recommend this dentist for wisdom teeth extraction.

Worst place ever. I will never recommend this place to anyone. This pace is money hungry. I went to grove dentist during 2020 and they gave me an exam, X-ray and had found ONE cavity on one of my tooth on bottom left they recommended me to do deep cleaning before filling up my cavity. I went there three time and still they wasn’t planning to deep clean my bottom left side-of course I was paying money out of pocket for deep clean. They want all that money before performing any fillings to my cavity tooth. Knowing and experiencing this sicken me to my stomach.

Everyone here is awesome. I was very happy with my experience, today I had a cleaning, check up and a filling, my tooth looks like it was never chipped and matches shape and color of the tooth next to it! The staff answered all of my questions and I didn’t have the “hurry up get this done” feeling. I felt cared for and will continue to come here.
