Will lie to get more money from you. Were going to charge me 4,000 dollars (after insurance) for work that didn't need to be done. Told me I needed root canals, multiple fillings, have gum disease, and I had an infected tooth.

Got a second opinion. I don't have gum disease or an infected tooth. No root canals are needed and my work can be done for less than a 1/4 of the cost.

Do yourself a favor and don't go here.

The worst experience with a dentist in St. Cloud. Scheduled appointments twice and I was disappointed twice, the receptionist gave me excuses to re-schedule with attitude and poor communication.

First is trash company offers me a price for a cleaning over the phone I accept then I go there to get there free X-ray done because that's what they require before cleaning and they gave me an entirely different price for the cleaning! So It was a waste of my time and I didn't even get my teeth cleaned because they wanted almost two times the amount then I go back 3 months later to get work done on a tooth of mine, They say they cant do it at the st cloud shop and sent me to stillwater 1h 40m away, They say I need to be put on meds before I go in to get the tooth worked on, They then call me on the day of the appointment and say the doctors not in today and schedule me a week later and I asked what about the medication you put me on it's going to be useless now... They said sorry we can't do refills over the phone I'm so mad at this point ..But I needed the work done! So i wait..

This was an appointment for my husband Michael Doubek. He said that the appointment was good but he has made several calls to them regarding cost and insurance and know one ever calls him back. We are looking to get dentures but if know one ever gets back to you. Then how do you move forward. He has been told that his message will get to whomever but they just don't call back.

ZERO RATING. I felt as if i was rushed. And just a number. Was not friendly. During my frist initial visit i had to ask about everything they were doing. Not very informative at all. My appointment was delayed by 20 minutes. The assistant that Did my x-rays was very polite. However When it came down to checking my teeth a different person csme in and started rattling off numbers and I literally had to ask what they were doing for each and every step that they did. I then was told that I had 4 cavities never having a cavity before I literally had to ask what they would do for the cavity. I had to ask how they do it, what do they do, why do they do that, what do they use ect. Then when it came to my cleaning the person that check me in told me that was gonna cost $50 to have my teeth cleaned and I said that if it was $50 that I was not going to want to continue with the cleaning. Apparently the cost for the fluoride is what they were charging me for. I continued with the appointment but did not get The fluoride. When a person came to get me i literally felt like I wasn't wanted there I just felt like I was a number and I did not care for the way that I Felt while I Was at my appointment. The dental assistant that continued to clean my teeth hardly even said a word to me and didnt inform me of anything as far as like what she was doing or even at the end of an appointment of telling me that she was giving me like a bag of stuff to take with me to go home. I absolutely love going to the dentist I have never had a worse experience dealing with any type of appointment I have ever made in my life than dealing with the people at Aspen dental

They took many expensive and unnecessary x-rays before I even saw the dentist. They also recommended an expensive cleaning procedure I had never needed before. When I finally met the dentist, he literally recorded the presence of each of my teeth. When I questioned the need for the cleaning, he muttered something I could not understand and slunk out of the room, leaving his assistant to explain the need for this expensive cleaning. He barely glanced at all those x-rays! At the end we met with the finance person, who explained the insurance company was going to eat the cost of those expensive sets of x-rays, and we were going to split the cost between us and the insurance company for the expensive cleaning. We declined, and are now scheduled elsewhere for actual cleanings and exams! What a waste of time and money!

I was so anxious, prior to my appt-
But they were so wonderful!
They are pleasant, and informative.
They gave me a heads up on-
How many appts to complete the work.
What would be done at each appt.
They offer convenient scheduling-
Getting me scheduled much quicker than I anticipated.

Aspen also offers a medical credit card application.
They also accept the Care Credit card, which allows convenient monthly payments.

I am thrilled to have discovered Aspen Dental, as I am new to this area.

In less than 6 weeks, I have my new smile!

They look, and fit, so much better than my previous dentures:

Immediately I noticed excellent suction, with each plate!

The size and shape of the teeth are much more properly proportioned/absolutely natural looking.

No food gets trapped beneath them.

I am pleased to have chosen Aspen Dental-

I am assured of possible future adjustments, at no additional cost.

A Package including Warranty for reasonable repairs; insures that I have no further, foreseeable, dental bills!

Yes!!

Thank you to the Aspen Dental Team!

Agree strongly with others, recommend avoiding. As other reviewers accurately point out, Aspen is profit orientated. First call from the office manager, told me "bring a form of payment" despite excellent Delta dental insurance without copays/deductable. Became clear why they made this strange request. Each employee pressured me to buy different products: overpriced electric toothbrush, expensive tooth whitening, and the most egregious was fluoride.

Following the exam, they force you to sit with the "office manager" sales representative to schedule a cleaning. She was deceptive, saying nonchalantly "your only expense at the cleaning is fluoride" to trick people into paying. Why be deceptive when you could just ask the patient if they want to pay more for fluoride? This whole push to get each customer to pay for extras was exhausting and an uncomfortable experience.

I will never return and learn from my experience, avoid this for-profit clinic that is focused on draining your bank account.

All of the staff are very friendly. I liked that the hygienists/dentist explained everything very thoroughly to me. They explained what they were doing, when they were doing it, and why they were doing it. They assured me that I was comfortable throughout it all. Even the root canal specialist was great. I recommend to anyone.

My mom visited Aspen Dental, St. Cloud today and had a horrible experience. She is an oral cancer survivor and explained that when she made the appointment. She still suffers from the effects of the radiation, one of which is extreme pain in her mouth from damaged nerves. She said the woman who took her x-rays was very nice, but she could hear a hygienist speaking loudly to the dentist several rooms away in a disrespectful manner about "the cancer patient", which I imagine was also in violation of HIPAA privacy laws. The dentist came into the room, where my mom again explained how much pain she has in her mouth, and he proceeded to rudely and painfully push around in her mouth. He told her there was nothing he could do for her and she should go to the U of MN. When she left, the rude hygienist sarcastically and disrespectfully told her to have a good day. Absolute waste of my mom's time when she explained the situation before she made the appointment. She has gone through enough trauma surviving cancer, and it's so disappointing that people at this office don't have any decency or professionalism.
