Knollwood Dentistry

My husband and I came to Knollwood because he got a hockey puck to the mouth and needed emergency attention. I cannot even begin to tell you how great everyone was in helping us get through this appointment (we were fit into a very busy schedule!!). Dr. Unger and Dr. Perpich were both in the exam room answering all if our questions and explaining the procedures (extraction and implant), making sure to explain everything in terms we understood! Nancy helped us look over the estimate, breaking down the cost of each procedure. Even after she left the room, she was very available to find when we had more questions. An assistant (I'm so sorry I can't remember your name!) was also incredibly kind in helping us make a difficult and costly decision. In the end, everyone involved with my husband's treatment and care were very understanding and supportive of the choices we made.
This office is outstanding. They are kind, organized, patient, and supportive. My husband isn't looking forward to the treatment, but is comforted knowing he is in great hands!!

Just got my wisdom teeth removed here. The staff were very sweet and handled me acting like a big baby with the utmost of grace. I'm feeling great a day later and got very clear, detailed instructions on what to do to expedite healing. Can't recommend this place enough. Thanks, Knollwood Dentistry!

I advise you to avoid this place at all costs! Shady. Shady. Shady.

I had a positive experience during my visits. It all went downhill after. I was given a quote for specific services and paid my coinsurance the day of my appointment. The rest was verified to be covered by my insurance, or so I was told. I asked multiple times if that was for sure the total amount I would have to pay and was ensured it was before I signed off on the services.

Fast-forward many months later and I received a phone call explaining that I still had an outstanding balance of over $400 because of a billing error and a maximum benefit. I was told by Knollwood Dentistry that they thought/hoped their dental claim would be processed before the additional services I had received form an oral surgeon that same day (and part of the same treatment). These additional services (a root canal) were part of the financial analysis I had signed off on. Because of clerical errors at Knollwood, their claim was not processed first. This "hope" that you get your money first is not an acceptable practice. Knowing a maximum benefit exists but just "hoping" your services are paid for first is a completely shady way to do business. I got one 2 minute phone call explaining all of their mistakes, and that I had to pay for them, and when I refused, I was immediately sent to a creditor. I never even received a formal invoice from the dentist office.

I will NEVER go back. I will also advise anyone looking for a dentist to steer clear of this place. They put on a good flashy front, but when it comes down to it, the business practices are extremely shady.

I can’t say enough positive things about Knollwood Dentistry. After a bad experience, I stayed away from the dentist for a long time but since the first time I walked through their doors, everyone at Knollwood Dentistry has gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I’ve received top-notch dental care and the office staff is professional and friendly. I would recommend them to everyone I know!

I will start off by stating that I am no stranger when it comes to dental offices. I have visited numerous places over the years for simple procedures like cleanings and cavity fillings, but also more advanced procedures like root canals, implants, and crowns. My experiences have ranged from very poor to great. I recently visited the Knollwood Dentistry team and was completely taken in by my experience there from start to finish. I was greeted at the front desk with welcoming smiles that immediately put my mind at ease. The facility was very clean and the waiting room had complimentary refreshments and cable TV, which I didn't even get a chance to watch because I was immediately received by Dr. Lund and his team (Kat and Calvin). Every person I came across in that office was very personable and friendly, and this is the first time I have had an experience that was so noticeably different in the best of ways. My visit was for a lateral incisor that had broken off at the gum line. I have had the tooth worked on multiple different times by multiple dentists with no luck, so my hopes were not very high when I sat down in the chair. Dr. Lund was absolutely amazing!! He actually took the time to sit down and sort through all of my options, because he didn't want to do a band aid fix over the issue like other dentists had done before. Some dentists I've had in the past would just tell me what I wanted to do, but Dr. Lund was the opposite. He was very down to earth and talked to me as if we had known each forever, which made me feel so comfortable. It's little things like this that have such a impact on my visit, because it takes my mind off the procedure that I'm about to endure. He was able to implant a rod into my root and build a crown with their state of the art equipment. He explained the procedure the whole way through and even showed me the crown being made by the machine, it was so cool! Dr. Lund and his team went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my experience, and they even stayed two hours after they closed to finish the procedure. This is hands down the best experience I have ever had in a dental office and I will never go anywhere but here from now on. I highly recommend Knollwood and I would give this facility 8 stars if I could!!

Dr. Atlanta Roloff is incredibly talented and gentle, making for an incredible experience and lasting results. Super thankful for her and for all of her staff!

I have been a customer of knollwood dentistry now for about 2 years. Every time I visit, the ladies at the front desk have been nothing short of very friendly, and caring. They always have made sure all of my questions and concerns have been attended to. The dental hygienist Calvin has always done a great job working on my teeth! Kudos to them.

They’ve gone through a couple of Dentists but I had to get a crown re-cemented a couple of times. I’ve never felt confident in its integrity in that it won’t fall out again until now. The Dr and Staff are so kind and not awkward. They work with your schedule and always ensure you can get follow up appointments in a timely manner. They consider how you feel, if you don’t care for the dentist or whatever it may be. As an added bonus you can watch tv in the chair while you wait if you choose.

My hygienist, Massa, made my visit one of the most positive experiences at the dentist I've ever had. On the whole, Knollwood is great. But Massa is one of the kindest, friendliest people I've met, and Knollwood is lucky to have her.

Best dentist visit of my adult life! Everyone was super friendly and gentle. Everything was explained extremely well. I never felt pressured into any procedure or anything that I didn't need. Dr. Hillesheim was with me for 90% of my visit and was genuinely interested in my health. I was really happy to find out he would be directly involved in every stage of my visit and enthusiastically so. I will recommend and return, without a doubt.
