After spending half my childhood at the dentists, I kind of fell off the wagon and didn't visit a dentist for over 20 years. An old root canal tooth broke due to my night time teeth grinding and I developed a painful gum infection in a day. My preferred dentists at the U-MN refused to take me in and out of desperation, I dialed the first dentist I saw on Google Maps (it pointed me to the closest office). I lucked out. These guys arranged to see me the very next day and scheduled my extraction and implant the week after. Dr. Allen was very friendly and non-judgmental and explained all my choices clearly. I didn't feel pressured to choose a certain line of treatment. I got excellent advice though. On her suggestion, I scheduled surgery with Dr. Unger and his team to get the root canal tooth out and place an implant right away. Not an easy procedure, especially given my dental anxiety. Dr. Unger and his assistant Megan were fantastic to work with. I knew what to expect in terms of post op care and their instructions and advice were very clear. They use all the latest technology and research and they know their stuff. Front office staff are very friendly and explain all the costs in a transparent way. Easy to schedule as well. Highly, highly, recommend.

I was extremely nervous about my procedure but w plastic crowns in two of my teeth, I was anxious to get it done. Dr. Hamedy is amazing and I'm so thankful he did my root canals. He is so skilled and efficient at his practice and the procedure wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My pulpotomies were actually more uncomfortable (painful). The front desk worked w me when setting up my payment plan which was important to me so I can get my providers paid up asap. If I need to see a specialist again, I'm calling Dr. H 😁...Thank you!!

Beware of billing practices. I had to pay over $4000 upfront by applying for smile generations credit. The dental office is overcharging for their services plus I still have a $1900 claim that they haven't responded back to my insurance company who is requesting documentation. I've also been told I have a refund but they have not sent it to me. My services are coming up on a year old.

I called Dentists of Highland Park after one of my molars broke. They were able to get me in right away for a cleaning and evaluation. I ended up getting a crown on the broken tooth, as well as a some work on a few other teeth, and the whole experience was great! The clinic is very modern and clean and everyone I interacted with was very friendly. Dr. Egan was very clear about everything that was happening throughout the procedures and was willing to answer any questions that I had. I would definitely recommend this dentist!

I loved that this office provided specialists so I did not have to go to another office! Dr. Egan and team made the process so easy and explained my benefits and payments right away. I also liked that I could start my treatment the same day. It's always a hassle to have to make a second appointment if additional work needs to be done.
