My girls saw Dr. Allen for a cleaning, and exam. They got treatment done same day also. Dr. Allen, and David did really well with the both of them.
Nancy and Claire both were transparent with insurance coverage, and my fees. Don't have to be back for another 6 months for the kids!

I had a very strange experience here, cannot recommend this dental office. When making the appointment by phone, I was told that there would be no charge as I was covered by MinnesotaCare. Then upon arrival I was told I had to pay "only $58" for the cleaning and check-up. I did not ask for nor wanted a cleaning or general check-up, only to check 2 premolars that I was unsure whether or not there was a problem with them. Finally they did only that, but I really had to insist. I was given an estimate with a rather high-end prices for a crown, over $1300, for a tooth that might in the end have to be removed or have root canal done. There were more details but the point is, I felt that I was being sold an expensive process without a likely hope for success. They were very careful to tell me that they would not be responsible if I had problems later. Even stranger, in the end, they did not charge MinesotaCare anything for my visit, which really is quite weird. Why? Maybe because they could see that I was wary. So, I can't give them a one star because I wouldn't be able to justify that, but I left feeling very uncomfortable. I would recommend to keep looking for another dental clinic.

Buyer beware! Went for routine exam. Was told I needed a crown, deep cleaning of my teeth and to visit another dentist. They told me the tooth was cracked needed a crown. The said mentioned cracked tooth has been that way for 20 plus years, never had a problem with it. Said I needed DEEP cleaning on teeth. Have had my teeth cleaned every 6 months for the past thirty years, never had a problem. Took my 100 dollar deposit would not refund when I called to cancel. I was not told deposit was non refundable. Total bill would have been well over 3000 dollars. Spent more time with "billing specialist" than the dentist. Plus dentist never checked my mouth for cancer as every dentist has done the past thirty years. I think these dentists are business people first, dentists second.

I was there in December during an ice storm. It took two hours to look at my gum pockets and scans of my teeth. Only the dentist was there. Feel they want your money. They told me I had gum disease and needed three crowns. Went to another dentist and I don't have gum disease and need no crowns. Had questions about my bill and told me Dr. Egan would call me. I called back, but still waiting for a phone call back. It's been three days. Poor customer service. I feel they have a quota on crowns. They pushed hard that needed dental work ASAP and may need dentures in the future. New dentist said that was not the case at all. Glad I went elsewhere.

Quite unhappy with their follow through & ability to communicate clearly. One of their dentists was not covered by my insurance, yet when I went six months prior, the dentist I had was completely covered by my insurance. Why would two professionals working at the same business be billed differently? At first, it was great... Seems it was just an illusion. Be wary!
