Mendes Family Dentistry

We've been seeing Dr. Charles Mendes for 25 years. A few years ago his son, Dr. Paul Mendes, joined his dad's practice. They are absolutely excellent. I've no idea why anyone would give them a low rating, so I had to jump in and counter those perceptions. Sometimes dental care is expensive, but in cases where expense was an issue I've had nothing but helpful cooperation, with a realistic assessment of essential treatment and treatment that could be delayed.
Their office is up-to-date and well equipped; for example, their x-rays are top-notch and much safer than older equipment.
This is a friendly family practice with highly trained professionals!

The office and hygienist are pleasant and efficient. the dentists do excellent work for reasonable prices. the practice handles insurance and finances respectfully, offering practical treatment and payment plans.

I was looking for a dentist after moving to St. Paul and I'm glad I found Mendes Family Dentistry! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- they went out of their way to make an effort to connect with me. I saw the elder Dr. Mendes, who was friendly, quick, and attentive; I didn't wait more than ten minutes for anything, which is a rarity for dentist offices nowadays. And, it was easy to get an appointment. I was very impressed and will be back!

I have been putting off finding a new dentist for over a year, and I am so glad that I decided to go to Mendes Family Dentistry. The entire staff was friendly, personable, and efficient. The dental hygienist was gentle on my teeth and gums, and she was kind. Dr. Paul was compassionate, and he answered my questions honestly. I was very happy with the entire experience, and I will certainly make this my new dentist.

Just got a regular cleaning and x-rays here today. Fast, stress-free and all staff I had interacted with including Dr. Mendes Sr. were supremely friendly. Probably had the most sincere, personable conversation with a dental hygienist and dentist ever. Great bedside manner, too. Scheduling an appointment was also easy. Recommend.

Mendes Family Denistry scheduled an appointment within two weeks of my call before Christmas. This was very helpful. The office took care of all the administrative details, getting x-rays and contacting insurance. The office is warm and cozy feeling. The hygienist was effective, and I have confidence in Dr. Charles Mendez’s exam. Will return.

Love this Dental practice! The staff are wonderful and friendly. Paul and the team are extremely professional and good at what they do. I had a full implant put in and they made the multiple appointment and overall process very smooth. Will keep coming here as long as I'm in the Twin Cities!

This is an outstanding practice. I visit them every 6 months for cleaning. They use the latest technology, the dentists and other employees have an outstanding level of skill, and the total experience is perfect.

My most recent experience was a crown in which Dr. Charles made an impression digitally and created the crown the same day using a digitally controlled milling machine. This too was a five--star experience.

I have been a patient here for many years & have always received superior dental care & information. The office staff & dental assistants call me by name & and have been very accommodating & flexible with scheduling -- the office is very efficiently managed so I've rarely waited more than a few minutes in the waiting room. I am especially appreciative of the helpful preventive information from both Drs Mendes. Their advice has helped me prevent future problems which has saved me time & money. I will continue to go to Mendes Family Dentistry for all of my dental needs & encourage anyone seeking the highest quality dental care & professional service to do the same.
