Shamblott Family Dentistry - St. Paul

I have struggled with the confidence going to the dentist over the years but took the plunge to really get my dental health above par! The Shamblott dental team are really incredible - I have gotten multiple procedures done at the Saint Paul location and I have had only positive things to say every time - I have personally told multiple friends to go here. It's hard to say you had a positive experience at a Dentist - but I have and if you are looking for an excellent place to go! Go here! :)

I had a tooth extraction today. Dr. Hansen was very gentle and fast. Talked me through every moment. I’ve had Dr. Hansen for a few years now. We have a plan. I trust him and I’m sticking with him.

My mother is a dentist and has always taken care of my teeth growing up. However, I recently moved to this area and needed my 6 month cleaning. I chose Shamblott because of its mostly positive reviews and close proximity. Setting up the appointment was easy and the staff were all friendly. The cleaning itself was good, but they told me I had two cavities that I would need to get fillings for. I was surprised because I have never had cavities before and nothing had changed in my home cleaning or diet. I was skeptical and had my mom review the x-rays they took. She said that the teeth should be watched, but with flossing, the small concerns could be corrected. She said that getting fillings were definitely not needed. Fillings are more serious than people realize and doing them prematurely is essentially destroying teeth for no reason. I was disappointed that they were trying to make a profit instead of caring for the well-being of my teeth first. I will not be returning.

It was an amiable space, the dentists were more than willing to any questions, and all payments came with an explanation.

I have not had a primary dental provider in years and was very worried about finding a new one and was worried about being judged or just being uncomfortable. I have not always had the best experiences at dental offices. I would avoid it at all costs. Going to Shamblott Family Dentistry in St Paul changed my mind. They made me so comfortable from the front desk staff and than through the whole chain. I was welcomed and they were compassionate and there was NO judgement, just genuine care. They came up with a treatment plan that fitted me without thinking about their financial gain. They let me choose what was important to me and let me choose what I wanted to do. This is the beginning of my journey and I wish I would've found them sooner. I finally feel I am going to have the smile that I want. I have never walked away from a dental appointment and felt this way. Thanks again for the compassion and great service from all at your office. It is much appreciated.

The St Paul office is amazing. I have anxiety over going to the dentist but not on my visit with Dr Shamblott. He and his staff made me feel so comfortable. They are so friendly and really got to know me. I highly recommend this dental provider. Thank you for making me feel better but most of all for making me feel safe and comfortable.

Always a wonderful experience. The entire dental staff is caring and patient. I tend to be an anxious dental patient and my fear of the dentist is minimal now compared to pure avoidance a fear years ago.
