Went in for a tooth extraction. They were not only incredibly caring and, yes, fun, but Dr. Opack is the BEST. The only DDS who has ever been able to numb me in one shot. Very competent, educated and gentle. He takes the time to explain everything, because I am one of those patients. Easily the best DDS I've ever had. I recommend this practice and doctor to anyone.

There isn’t an office around that is better than St. Paul family dentistry. Let me start by saying I have a phobia of needles. Anytime I need a filling these guys step up to accommodate me. I pass out (or close to) every time I need a shot.
Today I needed to get a few fillings and right away the staff grabbed me a fan, got oxygen and had the best bedside manner anyone could ask for, and that’s just the start. This staff takes the extra minute to make sure everything is perfect. I have had my wisdom teeth removed, teeth cleaned and cavities filled from them over the last 9 years. Every time they make sure my bite is lined up just right, make sure I’m comfortable in the chair, make sure I know the process of things (like not letting my cavities become root canals). They are the best. I couldn’t rave more about them. From the front desk to the doctors and everyone in between. They make you feel comfortable, like you’re at home.

Been going here for years. I had a root canal yesterday and I didnt feel a single thing. They are super thorough about what to expect and why things are being done. Each person always has a smile on their face and does whatever they can to make you comfortable!
I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a new Dentist or really just anyone in general!

I recently transferred my dental care over to St. Paul Family Dentistry after buying a house in St. Paul. I am impressed at how efficient they are compared to my prior dentist. Dr. Joe Opack is kind and respectful. I love his multi-stage approach to my situation. It doesn’t feel so overwhelming/over stimulating compared to other experiences. I’ve got pretty bad teeth for my age, have had so many issues with my bones (thanks PFD/MAS). He seems well educated in regards to issues like mine. Grateful to have found a dentist that I like so close to home.

St Paul Family Dentistry makes going to the dentist fast and easy! The staff is extremely friendly and always very welcoming! And my appointments are almost always on time! I used to get stressed over going to the dentist but my regular hygienist, Lori, definitely helps make it stress free! It's always such a joy catching up with her!
