Tamarack Hills Family Dentistry

I am not a person who likes to leave a bad review; however, I am doing it for Tamarack Hills Family Dentistry because I want potential Ortho patients to be smart and save themselves from being taken advantage.
Please note: I can not saying anything on their other services besides Orthodontics as it was only service I received. I got six-months clear braces thru them; however, I ended up wearing them for two years and I rarely missed any appts. Throughout my visits, There were only a couple of times (as requested)I was seen by Dr.. After long two years, I took my braces off as there was very minimum changes. They kept asking for extra fees for retainers and refused providing a new retainer when it was broken. Long story short; after my research of this dentistry, I explored that they do not specialize on Orthodontics. I won't recommend anyone getting braces from them. Please do your research prior making such an important and expensive decision :) Also, this occurred to my friend at the same period of time.

This is one of the very well organized office. Receptionist made us welcome with a smile. Dr. Matha is a very compassionate dentist with excellent bed side manners. He is very knowledgeable and very accommodative. He is most caring. We were surprised to receive a call next day morning from Dr. Matha himself to enquire how is the patient doing and feeling after the surgery. We thank Dr. Matha and all his staff for excellent care given to my wife (patient). I have no reservations to recommend him for any dental care.

My first time going to Tamarack Hills was fantastic! I was able to get in for an emergency appointment the same day I called. I got a text confirmation for my appointment (super helpful) and the staff even gave me a call when the appointment ahead of me cancelled so I could get in even earlier! I found out that my tooth need to be taken out, I kind of freaked out since I am one of those people with and irrational fear of the dentist. The staff were nothing but encouraging, supportive, and patient with me. They reassured me and were able to complete the extraction, the process was both physically and emotionally painless. Dr. Matha did a fantastic job, my coworkers were impressed the next day and couldn't believe that I wasn't swollen. I have found my new dentist and recommend the Tamarack Hills Family Dentistry team to anyone!

I am college student, i saved every penny for over 2 years to fix my teeth.
I got braces from them and wore it over two years. During those period I rarely see Dr. Martha. I was mostly seen by Ad. Justin. Having braces over 2 years, I initially saw some improvement. However, after like few days my re-trainer broke and my teeth started to going back and I have my teeth gap again.
Today I happen to go through their reviews, I realized that they did not specialized on braces. I really feel bad that i waste d my $5000, also mad at this dentistry because they didn't mentioned about their speciality honestly when I was went to them at the first place.
I was pretty new to this place and had zero knowledge about how does this things work or who am I supposed to see to fix my problem.
I feel like this place take advantage to me :(

My experience with Dr. Avi Matha was how I truly believe a dentist experience should be, AWESOME!! I have never been happy with my smile or truly comfortable at the dentist but that’s because I’ve been going to all the wrong places! The dentist was knowledgeable, patient, caring and above average, he is truly gifted at what he does. They took care of my smile from start to finish the same day! With the office technology and knowledge they are able to tackle problems most dentist couldn’t. If your looking for a great Dentist or hygienist honestly look no further and don’t settle for average, go with the best! I haven’t stopped smiling since I left their office and I honestly couldn’t be happier or more confident! Thank you Dr. Matha and your team!! You all should be proud of what you do for peoples’ teeth and confidence.

It's a beautiful office! The front desk was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful! Dr. Avi went over my treatment with me and was very detailed about the work that I had to have done. The hygienist was very gentle with my cleaning and the assistants were checking on me to make sure everything was running smoothly. Over all I would recommend this office to any one of my friends or family.

I took my 4 year old here- Great place for kids! Ashley (Dental assistant) was wonderful- she made my kid laugh and be comfortable through out the cleaning. There's no doubt this place has the most advanced technology I have seen at a dentist's office. The staff is very pleasant to talk to. Dr. Avi is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and great to work with. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Oh, and it's very beautifully decorated- was a pleasure to be there!

I don't like going to the dentist because I hate that drilling sound lol. However, I just found a new dentist for me and the rest of my family. Dr. Matha and his team are the best. They did everything to make sure I was comfortable. I had a lot of work to be done, so I spent about 3 hours and there not a dull moment. They had a great intern assisting the doctor. I'll give her a A grade. I look forward to be back in two weeks to complete my treatment. Thanks Dr Matha.

I just had two implants placed and would like to say my experience was very positive. Tamarack Hills Family Dentistry has great equipment and technology at their service. They start by taking an impression of the teeth and a panoramic x-ray of the bone structure. These are forwarded to a lab were drilling guides are built to exact specifications. The guides were placed over the bone and both implants were inserted in just over an hour. Sutures were performed and twenty four hours later my mouth is feeling comfortable. Dr. Matha and Shelly (his assistant) exude confidence which is reflected in the quality of their work. I look forward to the completion of the installation (abutments and crowns) and the ability to chew food on the right side of my mouth; ridding myself of the partial plate I currently wear.

My family and I had a great experience at Tamarack Hills Family Dentistry. The staff is very professional and friendly. My 9 yr. old daughter was very scared of dentists after a previous bad experience at another clinic, but she walked out of Dr. Matha's office with a big smile and not afraid of coming back. We also like fact that Tamarack Hills is open until seven during the week and almost all day on Saturdays. I recommend this clinic 100%.
