Anecdotal experience, but i had been with this dentist for over a decade. Never really thought much, positive or negative.
One visit i come in for what i thought was a normal checkup. Upon arrival after i got in the chair they said it wasn't a checkup it was to remove a cavity. Which i had 0 idea about and was not informed prior, which immediately made me hesitant. I should of gotten out of the chair.
I asked if everything will be covered by insurance before we proceed. They double checked and said yes. I got the filling, which to this date I am unsure if I really needed one. Unfortunately the filling was done poorly and my bite was messed up. I got it fixed at another dentist
Then icing to the cake the next day they said insurance won't cover it. Which made me extremely angry. Multiple times i called and they said they would comp the filling as it's a small charge. However they never did and tried to put the charge through collections.
Anecdotal story, but overall i'd recommend trusting another dentist.

Well, certainly happy the problem (impacted tooth) was found, happier still Dr. Ash was able to get me in to see Dr. Gavin right away, and happier still Dr., Gavin could work on the root canal. I think it was amazing that this could be done as quickly as it was. I don't believe any other dentist could have handled this any better! This is why we travel 30 miles each way to see Dr. Ash and will continue to do so!

I used to go to this dentist as child and took it for granted the great service this office provides. I have moved around a lot since college and tried other dentists in other cities, none of them compare to the service I've received here. I even came back here when I needed a crown instead of trusting another dentist. I wish I didn't live so far away so I could continue going to this office for my normal checkups.

I had forgotten about my appointment I scheduled about 6 months ago. This morning they call me asking if I'm on my way? Ummm on my way for what? It's not everyday I think about this place. I understand I should of written it done. The part that gets me is that the gal that called me was very snobbish and was blunt. I'm sorry I had forgotten I can't just up and leave work to come on in. I said i will call back and reschedule. She didn't seem to be to happy about that and then ended the conversation. Just be aware that people do tend to forget. It's a smaller dental office I would think they would try and be accommodating to thier clients. Things happen. Looking for a new dental office is on my list. I don't deal with rude abrasive people when I'm paying you.
