Bad communication. Waited three months and told me they had to reschedule my appointment a few days beforehand with no explanation, hung up on me when initially rescheduling, pushed my appointment back another 3 months.

I had a surgical tooth extraction done today. It was very rough and a hard removal. The experience was absolutely horrible. My entire experience today was bad from the start. The receptionist that is newer (not Karen and not Michelle) I think her name was Summer...was VERY unprofessional! She was loud and boisterous. She very loudly told Karen to review a note that was on my chart that she found to be “odd”. I heard everything she said so I know everyone else in the lobby could as well. That made me feel uncomfortable. Then I get back into the dental chair to find out I have to have a surgical extraction of my tooth which is fine, but Dr. Kalien couldn’t do the removal himself because he was busy with another patient. Another disappointment. Dr. Strous was to do the extraction. He came in and said something to the effect that they could use a picture of my tooth to encourage people to “get their crowns and teach the importance of following through with the crown process”. That made me feel really embarrassed and although this may be true, he was speaking and never once considered that not all patients have dental insurance. Like myself I am a self pay patient! I thought that was absolutely rude and inconsiderate. I have spent well over $6,000 cash dollars out of my pocket at this office including $400+ dollars for the surgical extraction I had today. Why should I be made feel any less than a person with insurance or who was able to follow through with all my dental procedures. Had I not been in pain and needing my tooth out I would have walked out of this office. Not to mention after the extraction of my tooth and 3 stitches later the pain medicine they gave me has not even begun to touch the pain I am experiencing. I called back to the office to let them know I was hurting only to be told they could not do anything else for me. Basically “deal with it”. I paid a lot of money to be put in pain and that is the way you treat your patients?!? I feel like maybe this was punishment for not having my crown put on my tooth from the way everything transpired in the office today. An all around horrible and horrific experience all together and I will definitely share my experience and make sure people know how they will be treated at this office.

This has been absolutely the best care I have ever received at a dentist. The staff is friendly and truly caring. Everything was explained extremely well and I felt completely at ease.

Cape Dental Was Quick And To The Point Needed A Tooth Out And I Had No Problem.They Gave Me A X- ray To See What Was Going On And Then, They Gave Me 2 Options A Root Canal Or Get It Pulled I Took The Second Choice And I was Well On My Way To A Better Feeling Mouth.I Could Eat Again.Thank You So Much Cape Dentala

Love this place. We moved and are 125 miles away but we stayed . Friendly and makes you feel safe, very caring. Best Dentist ever!!

My boyfriend and his family have not been pleased. They have been going here for years. His father received a quote for implants and they turn around and tell him it will cost more when he went to his appointment. Got his temporary implants and lost one of the teeth a day later. My boyfriend on the other hand went in to get a cleaning, it ran late so they couldn’t do the whole mouth. They told him he needed to reschedule to get the other half of his mouth cleaned. They said he could either call or go online to make an appointment. So he went online made an appointment for May 19th @ noon. Received 3 text messages confirming this appointment. Finally goes to his appointment today and they said he didn’t have an appointment and that sometimes the online system doesn’t work. Why tell him to do that then?? He has waited MONTHS just to get the other half of his teeth cleaned. I have never in my life heard of a dentist doing this. Extremely dysfunctional and unprofessional.

Saw me right away, took care of a lot of my immediate needs. No waiting, no need for extra appointments to sort of my problems. Arranged how to best take care of everything I needed done on the spot and started right away.

Dr. Kaelin seemed very knowledgeable and down to earth. The prices seemed a bit higher but you get what you pay for. He has done 2 different root canals with a post fill awaiting a crown. I am scheduled for a third. Both procedures left a clean and smooth surface along with no pain after. I know everyone is different but his work has definitely helped in my case along with the very helpful and intelligent staff.

This is the best dental group I've ever been too. They always make me feel at ease and they're very caring. I'm so glad I found them. My teeth look great.
