A friend of mine referred Dr. Vandewater to me. I had a painful tooth and the pain was increasing. My first impression of the dental office was the kindness of the staff. They scheduled me as soon as possible for an appointment. Jenn smiled and preceded to take a few X-rays before meeting Dr. Vandewater. Dr. Vandewater was very kind and gentle when examining my teeth. Withing minutes I was relaxed and Dr. Vandewater was able to find the problem with my tooth. He was very gentle with the drill and I couldn't believe how lucky I was to be referred to his office.
He is very knowledgeable and patient. I am a retired health care worker and liive in University City. I highly recommend Dr. Vandewater's office!

We're greeted with such warmth and care since I made the first call to make an appointment for my son. When we arrived for the appointment, my son especially felt very welcomed by Dr. Jay and his assistant. Dr. Jay was genuinely caring while being very professional. He asked important questions and he listened intently. My son was quite relaxed the entire time he's on the chair. As a mother of a child with serious teeth problems, I appreciated Dr. Jay taking time to understand the whole situation and explained as much and as honestly he could based on his knowledge to make sure I know what's involved. He took such interest in my son's case that he did extra research and sent me an email with useful resources that he thought I should be aware of. My son and I look forward to seeing him again for treatments.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. We are a family of 6 so we are at the dentist a lot. It’s a 35-40 minute drive for us to get there, and we pass many dentist offices on the way. We keep making the drive because the staff is so friendly and personable! They’re great with the kids no matter their age! It is a very comfortable atmosphere, laid back, but definitely getting the job done! Dr Jay is great! Fair and honest! Keep up the good work girls! Take care of you staff Dr. Jay!
