Summit Modern Dentistry

I have been to some good dentists and some bad. This place is great. They always have great specials, the staff is SO NICE, and the dentist really cares about helping you and making you comfortable when you're there. I had my teeth whitened recently and they look great.

I just recently switched dentist. When I walked in to Summit Modern Dentistry I was welcomed with a "Good morning". I arrived a few min early and was immediately taken back to get my xrays and bitewings. From the dentist, dental assistant, hygienist, and benefits coordinator everyone was friendly. This dental office exceeded all my expectations.

I was recently seen alongside my 2 little boys at this practice. All 3 of us received top notch care from both Dr. Boyce and Dr. Karabas. Dr. Boyce helped me figure out that I didn't need an expensive mouth guard at night, I was simply brushing hard and needed to consider a waterpik instead of harsh toothbrushes. Dr. Karabas saw my 8 and 4 year old boys and made the process run smoothly. The assistants were so kind and the reception made us feel welcome and were glad to see us. Everyone made the boys feel special and safe. My oldest struggles with anxiety and he left feeling like he was given the royal treatment. The team explained procedures and gave him the time to process and give consent. He has never been to a dentist that didn't rush him or scare him before. We were very impressed and thankful to find this practice. The office is clean and beautiful. The location is convenient. Highly recommend. It is clear this place is well managed and running smoothly under the current leadership.

I've been going here for about 2 years. I loved it at first, they staff was great. Then all of the sudden they told me my teeth were horrible, I needed 2 crowns and deep clean scaling. I got the work done and spent thousands out of pocket. A few weeks later I was in horrible pain. I went back in and was told to take ibproven, if it didn't get better in a few days I would need a root canal. I decided to get a second opinion and was told no I didn't need a root canal and infact I didn't need a crown based on the xrays sent, it should have just been a filing. Out of curiosity I asked the new dentist to check for other cavities. Turns out I need 16 more filings. If I would have continued care with this dentist I would have needed multiple more crowns in the next year or so. Dont go here!!!!

Last Sunday, my husband fell and one of his front teeth broke off right at the gum line. A family member recommended Summit Modern so we took him in to see what could be done. Dr. Boyce had his assistant take a few xrays and determined that the tooth needed to be pulled and discussed with me the options of an implant or a bridge. My husband has a unique condition from an injury four years ago and he cannot form any new memories.This makes appointments like this difficult because after a few days, he would forget anything that was done. So options that take a few appointments are hard because we have to explain each step of the appointment each time and he won't remember what happened and why we are even doing any dental work. Unfortunately, both of these options would mean multiple visits in my experience. However, Dr. Boyce explained that he could make a bridge that day using the same day CEREC machine!! They were even able to work with me on payments. I was able to get a Smile Generation plan and 12 months to pay this off with no interest, which is great with so many holidays coming up! So, two hours later, we walked out of the office and my husband had a permanent bridge completed that day! As of now, my husband does not remember the fall, but is really impressed with his new teeth. Even though he doesn't remember where they came from, I do and I will definitely be referring family and friends to Dr. Boyce and his office!

The dentist was very informative and the hygienist was very comical. I've never laughed this much during a cleaning. Everyone was very nice.

Dr. Boyce is very bad at being a dentist and apparently thinks dropping patients instead of providing quality care is a smart business model. On top of that, the office is poorly managed - they don’t call when they say they will, they expect the patients to tell them what’s next in the care plan (not the other way around), etc. Friendly but terrible at following through on promises, answering questions in ways that aren’t completely confusing, etc. Despite numerous occasions to do so, we never actually complained about how unorganized the business/scheduling office is because we are reasonable, understanding people - but getting terrible care is where we draw the line. The minute we speak up to advocate for better results for our daughter on the clinical side, boom, they tell us to take our business elsewhere. Okay then, will do. But thought I should warn others - if you choose this practice and especially Dr. Kyle Boyce, you will likely regret it. The market has much better to offer than this! If you want quality service, go elsewhere.

They canceled my appointment And didn’t even have the courtesy to let me know they did it. I showed up on time after ensuring I had care for my 4 week old baby but they can’t reach out and let me know their dentist left early.
I was also a brand new Patient here this would of been my first visit and they took all of my info over the phone including phone number email and insurance. I will not be going back.

I have always been resistant to seeing a dentist until now. Dr. Boyce helped me understand what was necessary for my dental health and I felt very comfortable through each visit. Dr. Karabas was extremely nice and understanding of any sensitivity. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. Thank you!
