O'Fallon Modern Dentistry

Staff is friendly, office environment is clean and modern.
I’ve had to wait more than 15 minutes each time I’ve had an appointment to see the dentist. My most recent visit had more than a 30 minute wait. This is very frustrating for a scheduled appointment.
I appreciate the office providing in-office crown service, however a recent new crown has fallen out 3 times!
I’ll be looking for a new dentist.

They were able to get me in as an emergency and absolutely love how they treated me. I now have a long term plan with them to get myself back on track with my Dental care.

Be careful. Huge money grab. My regular dentist for 6 years stopped taking my insurance. So I came across o'fallon modern dentistry which would except it. Thank you. Had my first cleaning and check up. 3,500 worth of work they said I needed. Went back to my old dentist paid cash for a second opinion. Sense he had all my records. 225.00 dollar filling is all I need. After looking at x-rays he took plus exam. WOW what a difference. All I see is dollar signs walking in that front door.

I can not begin to explain how important this group of Dentist and office staff are to me, and how they have impacted my life and my experience since moving to Missouri! I moved here to be closer to my grandchildren after being in the same place for over 50 years! To say that I have anxiety when having to go to the dentist does not even begin to paint a true picture. There is not a tooth that has not had some form of dental work and I always seem to be in the very low percentage of people that have major complications. When I arrived in Missouri I had just had my 4th implant. I made an appointment to transfer my care to to clinic where my daughter and her family received their care. Before my appointment came on a trip back to MS my 4th implant actually fell out and required emergency oral surgery and a bone graft while in MS. On my return to MO I was in a near panic to be able to actually get some form of temporary fix before I had to travel for two to three weeks. Michelle in the office is and was an angel and my hero! She not only made sure I had an appointment but seen that I was a high anxiety situation and stayed with me until I had calmed down. That night Vanessa and Dr Shirvastava stayed with me for over 5 hours and I left with a beautiful new bridge! They have continued to provide great, compassionate care. This very long post does not begin to express my appreciation for this team and their professional care. I give them 5 ⭐️ only because that is as high as it goes! Thank you Modern Dentistry of O’Fallon, you have a forever FAN!!!

I highly do NOT recommend this office! Between my son and I we have been to this office 3 separate times. All 3 office visits I've had the same Healthscope dental plan through my employer. Today 6/17/19, after obtaining an emergency appointment I learned while sitting in the dental chair waiting to preform my root canal, this office is out of network with my plan.

After speaking to the office manager, confirmed that it is in their policy and procedure to communicate with patients rather plan is in or out of network. All insurance is confirmed prior to patient walking in the door. This office failed to communicate prior to my 245pm appointment that I was able to obtain at 1030am same day. If I had the information able I could have made arrangements at a in-network office.

Save yourself the trouble and completely avoid this office at all cost.

This place is a scam. Family member’s appointment took over 2 hours. They will absolutely fear you into unnecessary services. $1000 deep cleanings, etc... if you’re a healthcare worker they play on that extra hard, take advantage of mask wearing necessity and fear you into deep cleanings, refused to provide regular cleaning to wife. Appears I have to call to get services due for her, what a shame.

In the past they were adding a surcharge for PPE, told them to bill insurance, preventative care is covered 100%. Wonder how many people fell for that scam.

Switching dentist immediately! Suggest you do the same, not a honest, trustworthy place...

I went in as an emergency appointment for a severe toothache, Dr King was very tentative too everything , he could see I was in severe pain and discomfort, even his nurse Vanessa was very easy on me when she could see I could hardly open my mouth, dr king offered to numb my mouth too help me get some relief faster until my meds could kick in , never have I had someone go above and beyond too help , I ended up having to call Dr. King late last night due to the pain and he helped me figure out what too do and told me to go to the hospital , once at the hospital dr. King kept in touch to make sure everything was going okay , I needed up having to have surgery ! But now I am working with Dr. King and his office too make sure I have a smile and new teeth in a timely manner, thank you so much Dr.king and his staff

Dr Gulley looks like a cheerleader, not even out of her 20s. I was terrified: “I’m going to have a baby working on me?!” But she was chipper & confident so I gave her a chance.
I was so grateful O’Fallon Modern got me in for a same day emergency on a Saturday & they’re not even my regular dentist.
I got nitrous. My back tooth had to be extracted. Dr. Gulley was quick, competent & reassuring.
Brigitte & Amy were very helpful & kind to me, willing to keep me distracted during the procedure. They spent extra time, patiently answering all my aftercare instructions questions.
One complaint: Don’t purchase scented care items, like the nitrous masks!

I can not say enough good about O'Fallon Modern Dentistry. Dr. King did my procedure quickly and without any discomfort at all. The entire staff is friendly and professional. I am now referring my friends and family here. The hygienist gave me the best cleaning that I ever had an even removed some old glue from my braces from years earlier. I sent my friend here who was diagnosed with leukemia back in 2014 and the staff took really good care of him. Thank you, Marsha and Shawn and Dr. King for all the extra work that you did for him. He is very happy.

I visited this office for the first time today. I had to wait in the waiting room longer than I would've have liked but honestly it was a normal time for any doctor's office (about 12 minutes). Everyone I spoke with was friendly and knowledgeable. There was quite a bit of down time once I was taken back to a room but someone kept me informed of how long I would have to wait and the reason why, each time. Which I definitely appreciated. Overall the staff is very welcoming and attentive. I have already scheduled my next two appointments.
