It’s a nice building and the dental assistant was very nice and helpful. But, I didn’t feel like I got the best cleaning while I was there. The dentist wasn’t very helpful with the pain that I have with the back of my teeth. And she just didn’t seem very friendly. I won’t be going back. Very disappointing.

Didn't tell me they stopped doing fillings, and then proceeded to pick out one of my fillings because "it was gonna fall out soon anyway". I wouldn't go back there even if it was the last dentists office in Missouri.

Office looks very clean. No long wait time. I have been going to ADS for a while now and it is undoubtedly the best dental office in Springfield. Everyone from the dentist to the staffs are very friendly and my hygienist does a great job. Dr. Zee is such a wonderful & knowledgeable person. I would highly recommend this office to everyone!

Not horribly long ago my daughter's dog had chewed her upper dental plate while she was asleep. Upon awaking she was mortified about facing her employees without her missing plate. She contacted American Dental Solutions and the staff were very understanding and were able to get her in immediately to get her refitted for a new upper plate. The staff treated this as an emergency, which in her job it was, and were able to get her back to work that night with a new quality smile. I have never personally experienced such quick and personal attention by staff of a dental firm as had my daughter and now intend to make my next appointment with your company. Kudos to your staff and office for going the extra mile for your clients both new and old.

I have never been to a worse dental office in my life. I was pregnant when I went to see them because I had Medicaid at the time. I felt welcome when I entered the building. But after I was taken back the kindness was soon gone. All they really cared about was how far along I was at the time. I was just having a dental cleaning. Once I was in the chair and she asked all the questions about what I am concerned about, she didn't take any note of it, I also told her I have sensitive gums all my life, no note of the either, while she was cleaning my teeth I started to cry, because of my gums and the roughness she cleaned them, after she was done no one asked if I was okay or even asked if I wanted a tissue. Well once the dentist came over and looked at my teeth she only looked at half of them! And didn't even bother looking at the ones the where bothering me. Needless to say I didn't not go back to get them fixed. I well pay the big bucks to get my teeth fixed by a dentist I like.

I have been a patient of American Dental Solutions since 2010. Dr Z has done lots of dental work on me and I have never had a problem. The staff is always kind and helpful. I have recommended Dr. Z to family and friends and will continue to do so.

I had an absolutely horrible experience here. I wasn't told truthfully how many cavities I had, and the doctor gave me more fillings than I had agreed to knowing I don't have insurance, which seems pretty deceptive and unethical.

When I went in for a cleaning last week, I was a little scared because I hadn't been to the dentist in a while and felt that I probably had at least one cavity. I went in for a 5:00 appointment because I work from 9AM to 4:30. My appointment felt rushed like everyone just wanted to go home, and when the doctor told me we were finished, I asked if I had any cavities, and she said I didn't. I let her know I had seen a spot on my tooth, so she asked which tooth. I don't think I should have to tell the doctor which tooth I think might have a cavity, especially when I pay for X-Rays. She confirmed that I did have a cavity on only that tooth, we made an appointment for a filling, and she told me how much that one filling would cost.

After I'm seated at my second appointment, the hygienist and doctor start working on my teeth without saying a single word to me and proceed to give me a second filling without informing me what they were doing. No one had told me about the second cavity but instead gave me another filling without consulting me. I had agreed on the price of one filling, but I ended up being forced to pay almost $500 out of pocket. Had I known the situation ahead of time, I probably would have postponed my appointment until I could figure out what my options were with insurance or a payment plan, but I feel like I was taken advantage of at this dental practice.

So, I was anxious of what would happen at my first dentist appointment, then reassured that I only had one cavity after the doctor hadn't even really checked thoroughly, then given a very expensive second filling without my knowledge or permission or any offer to remedy what happened. This highly unethical operation of forcing someone to receive and pay for more than both parties had discussed led me to feel so confused, uncomfortable, and scared to go to the dentist at all.

Update 8-13-2019: American Dental Solutions called me on August 9 saying that their CEO told them to offer me a full refund for my visit, something I never asked for or would have asked for. I accepted, and when I went into the office, they told me I would be getting a partial refund. Had they not already contacted me personally to offer me a full refund, I wouldn't have expected it. I only insisted on a full refund because that is what I was promised, what I thought was an attempt to set things right. However, now people are informing me that the office is spreading around that I'm scamming them for money.

I visited American Dental Solutions yesterday, I can't even begin to express how wonderful this state of the art huge dental office was!

Dr. Zee went above and beyond in every aspect and thought of every detail to make my visit perfectly pleasant. On top of it, American Dental is affordable for students like me. I highly recommend them!

I went here a year ago. The dentist didn't even look at my teeth. Got a 10 minute cleaning. She is just trying to get insurance money. She told me the tooth that was bothering me might need a root canal or a filling, "your insurance wont pay for that" then she walked away. My insurance does pay for that. The whole place is very uncomfortable.

First of all, the guy named Curt that left a comment about walking into a "third world country" is completely rascist. Im absolutly blown away that someone would be comfortable saying that in a review.

Never have had an issue here. Cleanings always go well. The Doctor is direct about the care of your teeth and honest. Has always got me referrals for any surgery that needed to be done. This office does fine work, receptionists are nice and ive always felt welcomed amd comforable at the office.
